April, May, June AP Watch. Let's Get it Started

I just booked the WL with AAA rate, but just in case something better comes along...
Thanks to everyone for keeping us all informed!:sunny:

Just want in on the info. Looking for some rates for May. ::yes::

OK, I can't get a straight answer out of Disney for this so thought I'd ask here.

I have AAA rates booked for the first week of May at both Pop and POR. Let's just say that the AP rates don't come out until the end of April & my rooms are paid in full before then - will it cost me to switch the paid AAA rates over to AP rates since we're only talking a matter of a couple weeks until the trip?

Also, (sorry), if I could switch them over to AP rates would my money transfer to the new reservation or would they have to issue refund for the paid reservation and then I would have to pay the new ones in full then? Everyone gives a different answer when I call & ask.

Ack, hope that makes sense to someone.

Thanks!

I am dying to get the AP rates I need one night as we move from an off property house to a Sunday through Thursday stay at the BCV and I'm too cheap to pay $10.00 a point for 29 points for a Saturday stay at the BCV.

I'm with you abline! I don't understand why I would want to pay for those extra points just cuz its Fri or Sat! I'd rather move to a different resort too!

I'm waiting too....

Just booked Pop Century for my family and hoping to upgrade to CBR for less than $100 per night if the AP code or any other code permits.

First trip back to Disney World since my honeymoon in 1994 and first trip for my 4 yr old son ever.....can't wait!

Oh, for AP rates like that this year!!! :earseek:

I think we might do okay. This year's holiday season was the best ever and they had AP rates through 12/26 :) I'm looking at a half full glass. Also, they had those rates last year for our stay and we stayed at AKL and for our stay the hotel was 100% occupied.

I am a points cheapskate too. I keep thinking of the THREE nights I could have for the cost of one weekend night. This is why we have annual passes -- to get cash nights at a good rate.

C'mon rates! Show up early this year so we can PLAN!

I hope I am wrong, but did the code come out on 4/21???...we may have a long wait............

Grim...

I don't remember exactly when the rates came out, but that is the date on the e-mail from Mousesavers.com

Mary at Mousesavers.com is usually pretty good about sending out a "Hot Deals" e-mail to all her subscribers as soon as the rate is available.

Also....I think I have seen others post on this board that the rates were released late for this period last year.

speedyf :)

I posted the date of release for late April, May, & June in my earliest post (I think?) and it was, indeed, April 21, 2003. There were room only codes released before that date however. April 21 was the AP rate release date. We grabbed a room only code rate and waited patiently for a better AP rate.

So do I have it right that we can book a "room only" rate than call back and ask for the better AP rate? I don't want to wait til late April to book... Yet I sure don't want to pay rack rate, either!

If you call CRO will they tell you if there are any codes for the general public or do you have to know what they are before you call?

have Poly 4/04 @AAA rate looking for AP,CM just told me should be in couple weeks

bump.....:bounce:

Anyone hear any possible release dates recently?

Hopefully they will not make us wait until April like last year. They were quick to release codes for mid Feb-mid April so we can hope right? Well Jan release was done on Jan 3 ? which was about 6 weeks from the mid-Feb dates but was about 14 weeks from the mid-April dates. So just a little thinking here...6 weeks before April 18 is about March 1 .... oh I don't like that line of thinking

Disney help us...the waiting is painful.

Couldn't wait any longer. Just booked a room at Contemporary for June. VERY nice & helpful CM told me she expects new AP rates soon! I told her there's alot of us waiting! Yippee, I'm excited!

Bump!! :bounce:
Just in case Monday is the day. Room only, non-AP rate codes expire on Monday. Maybe we will get lucky and the new AP codes will be released for April, May and June with the expiration of these codes.
ADP
