The plan was today to head out to Typhoon Lagoon but it was raining, so quick change of plans and decided we would head to Epcot. First off we walked over for our character breakfast at Cape May café. Minnie, Chip, Dale and Goofy were here and a lovely breakfast we had.
We walked to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot and headed over to Honey I shrunk the Audience as we have never done this in Florida only in Paris, after this we went on Figment which was a first for us and we enjoyed this. We sent Karen (Miffy2003) some pictures from the Kodak Image works. We headed over to Living Seas, outside was a man doing a sand sculpture, which was brilliant. Inside we saw the Dolphins and the Manatees and then we checked out Innovations East and West before heading to the pin stations and spending too much money on pins! On our walk back I picked up some chips in the UK again and this time we caught the friendship boat back to Epcot, we only tend to do this if there is one waiting as the walk is so short to the Boardwalk. On our way back to the Boardwalk my new DVC bag broke, so I needed to look out the receipt to exchange it.
We had a rest in the room and whilst I had a snooze Alan played on his playstation portable. I had a wonderful birthday surprise delivered here from Karen a White Chocolate Mickey Mouse, how could I eat him??? We did.
After that we headed out by bus to Downtown Disney to do some more shopping. We went to the Days of Christmas store where I had to pick up some pet name tags, they are in the shape of Mickey and my kitties love them.
We decided on dinner at Planet Hollywood and was not impressed by either the food or the service here, so not one we will try again I think. We headed over to the Guitar shop for Alan to have a look and then a peak around the Virgin Mega store, I managed to find a copy of Heat Magazine and a sat down for a little while to catch up on the gossip at home.
We caught the bus back to the Boardwalk and stopped by the bakery where I picked up some carrot cake that was delicious and then into the store to change my bag and back to the room for the evening.
