April Exercise Thread--Spring is here! No excuses to not get moving. :)

April tally - 456/2000

Adding 102 minutes - combined time for 3 different modified P90X routines

50 minutes run/walk as I did practice run today for my first 5K next Saturday including warm-up and cool-down.

175/900

465/900

Busy day today and had a frustrating second workout so I'm only counting an hour today. Most of the other 20 minutes was spent dealing with technical issues.

But my youngest won his lacrosse game today!

Nine mile walk today. :)

9 mile walk - nicely done!!

this weekend two short walks to the grocery store and my first run in a very long time. I admit that I had to battle the negative voices during my run that make it their mission to make me feel totally inadequate.

55 minutes

It was just so nice to be outside!

Good job in stifling those unhelpful voices.

Updating through post #108. :)

A Hilly Half today - it took me slightly longer this time than my first, but the first was completely flat and THIS ONE WAS NOT! So I'm good with it. :goodvibes

Have a good week y'all
Congrats! I knew you could do it. :goodvibes

Adding 60 minutes - P90X Arms & Shoulders

Another day of Body Revolution. I am getting close to the end of phase 1 - already scared of the workouts in phase 2! :crazy2:

Question to all of you: My goal is set so that I decided to only count additional exercise into it. So, walking 10 minutes to the restaurant where I would have lunch does not count as I do that nearly every day anyway. But walking home instead of taking the train does count. So, now the weather is nice and I started to get the bike out. It takes me about 15 minutes to get to work and 15 minutes back on my bike. Ideally this is going to be everyday exercise during the summer months. So - do I count it as exercise or do I not? Would love to hear some opinions! :goodvibes

I'd raise your goal and count it. Like, maybe bump up your amount to 1500, or some number slightly above your exercise goal and everyday exercise. This weekend, I included two 70-minute couch to 10k sessions, long walk to food store, three other shorter non-typical walks (instead of driving), and another two-mile walk because my toddler fell asleep in her stroller. Yesterday, it added up to over 10 miles alone!

Hi there, my name is Robin! I would love to join this thread! I have at least 30 lbs to drop and this will be an awesome way to keep track of my exercises!

So far I am at 50/1000
