April Exercise Thread--Spring is here! No excuses to not get moving. :)

Starting off strong this month. 90 minutes at the gym , lots of treadmill, arm and leg exercises with the machines, and 5 lb weights. Drizzle in NY today.....Hey people coming to NY for Easter ......any Disney plays while you are here? :)

I still can't decide between Lion King or Aladdin. My DD has tried rush for Aladdin, but no luck. She has already seen Newsies and wouldn't mind seeing it again, but I would like to see something she hasn't seen yet. I just don't know! Have you seen any Disney plays? Any suggestions?

That's yesterday and today's plank. 15 minutes swim before work this morning and a 20 min walk this evening.

Oh, Rose. You poor thing with your feet! I am so glad you are better. I was never sent to physical therapy. The doctor gave me a big long sheet with exercises on it, so I try to do that.

Love all the wildlife everyone is seeing (although the bobcat scared me!).

I saw Lion King (in a touring production, not actually on Broadway), and it's really wonderful. The staging is quite impressive. Aladdin is new, obviously, but reviews for it are so-so. I think we'll enjoy it regardless, but it sounds like Lion King is the better show.

My exercise is going to be riding horses today. SO SO SO grateful for the warmer weather!

felt lousy exercising this morning, but felt great this evening, so added in a bonus workout. maybe the working out in the morning is not too bad. I feel horrible while I do it, but it sets the day up in a great way... :confused3

Is that the furthest you have ever run?

I loved (ok it was brutal at times) training for my first half marathon, because I had so many distance pr's. :goodvibes

Since high school, yes. I was on the track team, but not very good. I'm doing the 10 mile Broad Street run in one month and the Wine & Dine half in Nov.

I saw the first humming birds this year this morning. I love spring. :)
We don't get humming birds until much later in the summer. Very cool!
