My kids were absolutely thrilled at all the wonderful things you gave them!!!! I realized very quickly that (1) I need to up my FE game for next year and (2) I should NOT take my hubby shopping with me next time! Thank you, thank you for your generosity!!!!

And yes, we rebooked! We were already booked for next year before this year's cruise.

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet all of you. My DD was napping at 3 and as you all know, you don't interfere with the nap!

Thank you all for the awesome surprises in our FE! It was great to meet those of you who could attend the meet and greet! I hope you all made it home safe and sound

We were already booked for the April 3, 2011 cruise on the Dream - so now we will look forward to the new ship and that water slide!!

We just got home late last night from WDW - so now I'm doing ALL of the laundry and suffering from the post-vacation blues. The fastest way to cure the blues is to start my planning for our next trip

What great gifts, so over the top! It was wonderful, thanks to all. We are waiting until the Fall to book our next trip. We want to do the Eastern Caribean on one of the new trips, they will have to schedules out in the Fall.

Thank you everyone for the FABULOUS FE gifts! The whole family got a thrill when we saw new deliveries at the door everyday. Everyone did such a great job with these. Especially WannaBeaPrincess. You really went all out! THANK YOU!

We had a fabulous time on the cruise, but we didn't rebook onboard. I think I have dh convinced to do a 7 nighter next time, but he still needs a little more prodding.

Back to reality tomorrow...

Another big Thank You from us!! This was our first cruise and I wasn't sure if I wanted to throw in the "pressure" of doing the FE exchange but I have to say my kids were soooo thrilled to receive all of their treats. And my DD and I had so much fun delivering ours. Michelle I think we ran into your hubby while making our rounds. He was taking pictures of your "understated" door

I agree that Wendy set the bar too high for me to ever reach. LOL And we loved the scrapbook idea!!!

I hate to single any one gift out, but I had to share my sad tale.... I read that you shouldn't carry a lot of cash with you to the Bahamas so I just took some money for trinkets and put it in my pocket (no purse) and my DH had money in his wallet. My dds were excited to get their hair braided in the Bahamas so we did that as soon as we got off the boat and we got totally soaked on the price. So all of our money we took with us was spent before we even left the welcome center. We walked to the straw market just to look around. As soon as we got there my kids found things they wanted to buy so I said to my DH "Let's just go back to the boat b/c we have nothing to spend anyway so why shop?" (said in a sulky - poor me tone) Well that day "someone" left straw purses for my girls and a key chain for my son that said "Bahamas" I couldn't help but tear up. I had just wanted to buy little trinkets for them in the straw market but as mentioned had no money left in my pocket so the fact that it worked out the way it did reminded me how pixie dust works in strage ways Not to mention that my son collects key chains!!! So from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for turning a disappointing experience into a great day!!

Tara (5 Disney Fans)-- LOVED your "happy ending" story about the Bahamas straw market gifts. Pixie dust did abound on the ship. My son had a fantastic 13th birthday. I have the best pic and video of him lying in a hammock on Castaway Cay, drinking a cold drink. On the video I ask him how it feels to turn 13 and he says, "Just awful". So fun.

Everyone did a great job on the FE gifts but I agree that Wendy (IWannaBeAPrincess) went above and beyond the call of duty. I don't know whether to hope or fear that I cruise with her again--I don't think I can compete with the fabulousness of her FE gifts.

Hmmm. Now I'm curious who was taking pics of our door--because it wasn't my hubby (unless it was a video). We realized after we got home that we never took a pic of the door at all--oops! Guess I'll have to remember to do it next time.

Glad everyone is finally home safely!!

I loved making the FE gifts, truly, I did. But nothing compared to my daughters joy when she came to the room time after time to receive bags and bags of gifts!! Thank you all so much for making our trip more magical.

I also have to say a special thank you to the person who placed the straw wallets. Thank you. We wanted to go to the straw market, but we were really scared to go there, plus with so many stores closed, we just just decided to skip it. I was bummed that we didn't get a straw purse, so when we got back and it was in our room, I was absolutely THRILLED!

We were already booked for next trip, we're on the 4/3 Wonder in the Mexican Riviera. I wanted to go on the Dream and considered changing my booking but the on-board lady discouraged it, due to the room (SPH - 5020) and the value that we got from booking so early. I did rebook a dummy date, though, so I can plan another one in the future with the on-board benefit and credit.

It was a great cruise and a great post-trip in WDW! My DH had to drag us onto the ME bus. I did not want to leave.

It was great meeting each of you, and I hope to cruise with you again!

I have a funny story for you. Our table mates were going on and on about this door next to them that was decorated. They mentioned license plates, and I said "Are you on the deck 5? was it room 5518?"

They were really shocked. Then I explained how we "knew" you and they were excited to come home and join the disboards.

I've forgotten their names. The guy was in his early 50s, his wife is really pretty and blonde in her late 30s... Their daughter is Shae and she was 5 and blonde. I don't know if you met them, but they were our table mates, and they loved your door. He was probably the one taking a picture of your door, LOL!

Cool! I always wonder if people look at the door--esp. because this time we weren't in a long hallway. I think the room stewards enjoy seeing them. I'm glad your tablemates enjoyed it!

Speaking of tablemates, we had a really nice family at our table. Last cruise we were by ourselves so I forgot that we could even have another family with us. They were the perfect match for us--a DD the same age as our DS and their DS was just a year older than our DD. The DW and I both work in the schools. We SO enjoyed them and everynight we were one of the last tables to leave the dining room because we were so busy chatting!

I know that not everyone is so fortunate--our waiter told us that one of his tables had 3 families at it. By the second night, 2 of the families asked to be seated at a table separate from the 3rd family! So our waiter still had to serve the 3 families even though 2 of them were seated in at an empty table in a completely different section of the dining room. Hope this wasn't any of you!!
