Hi all! Me and my wild crew will be joining you all next year. I've been neglecting this thread because of my other Disney trips that are coming up. But i'm here now! I love the fabric. It would be awesome to make sarongs out of it, too.

I have a question about the sizing. I am assuming that these sizes are men's sizes? So maybe a man's large might transer into a womans medium, etc?

This was my thinking..........I am between sizes so I wen't with the bigger one.

I see a lot of concern with ordering/price....
I think we order first to see the volume/ a mount of shirts that we as a group need/want to see the cost....the more on order the less the cost....
is this correct?

This is what I was thinking. I just hope all sizes can be filled so those that wan't a shirt can get one.

I know this is somewhat of a loaded question, but how much is everyone budgeting for excursions?

Also, I remember reading somewhere the least expensive car rental company in hawaii, but can't seem to find it now!

I haven't yet but I am waiting to see what DCL offers first.

Regardless of what your paperwork or the website might say, as that information was given out incorrectly. Travel agents have been told this by DCL for weeks now and SUPPOSEDLY if you were to go in and make a payment the info on the websit should correct to the payment date.

Regardless of what your paperwork or the website might say, as that information was given out incorrectly. Travel agents have been told this by DCL for weeks now and SUPPOSEDLY if you were to go in and make a payment the info on the websit should correct to the payment date.

Because I use a TA, DCL's system won't let me see my account info to check my Final Payment Date. It does say I can check in on 1-15, if PIF. My original booking doc says final payment is due 2-14-12 and I have never gotten anything changing that. However, I would not be surprised to find it has been. I doubt DCL will tell me anything, as I have a TA, but I can check tomorrow.

Is 120 days out for PIF standard? I can't remember when our WBTA or PC PIF date was. For my October MR cruise the PIF date was 90 day out. In order to take advantage of the early booking with castaway membership I had to pay earlier then that but the final pay date was 90 days. I understand 2-14-12 is only 75 days out so it most likely was a mistake.

If the PIF date is 12-31-11, if the group is willing to take the risk, we can change the final pay date on the shirts to 1-2-12. I should get the shirts, if there are no problems, back in time to mail them out the first week in April. Does this work better for everyone?

I still need the forms back ASAP in order to resolve the issue of "what will they cost". I can't say until I know how many will be ordered.

Earlier someone mentioned not trusting paypal because they had been hacked years ago. We also were hacked by someone getting into paypal (and at that time I believe it was literally a part of ebay) and getting our info.

But since then paypal has totally changed and it extremely secure. I asked at my credit union before I started using it again (they had investigated original hacking) and they said it was safe to use. I have a dedicated debit card I use only for online so I can go online and check daily for use. I have used it at least 100 times over the last 2-3 years with no problems. At least 6 major companies I do online shopping with use it and I have had no problems with them. I do feel better using them rather than putting my info on all those different sites. Plus they make it so easy to pay for orders....

Actually, it looks like suite/concierge guests pay even sooner for cruises over 10 days:

Full payment for the cruises 10 nights or longer or cruises less than 10 nights that embark or debark from a non-US port must be received 150 days prior to arrival for all concierge categories and 120 days prior to arrival for all non-concierge categories.

Wow you have been busy, its about a month since I last checked in and I have had to catch up about 70 pages!

We had a fabulous time in California and anyone that has even had just a passing interest in the Adventures by Disney Backstage Magic tour - run, do not walk and book it! It was the most incredible trip for a fan of all things Disney.

And now I have a question or two or three... we are planning on arriving on the Friday night before the cruise and are considering staying in Long Beach for the two nights prior. I've heard its slightly nicer than San Pedro and we have toured the Queen Mary a couple of years back so thought Long Beach might be a good choice... thoughts? Any recommendations on places to stay - doesn't need to be too fancy, just something clean and quiet and preferably near something to do/somewhere to eat as we will be walking around.

Following the cruise, we are planning on staying at DL for 1 night (assuming we can get into the GCV on our DVC points) and are wondering what the best/quickest way would be. I'm thinking a taxi - or will there be other options? Any idea on costs?

Val - whatever days you are comfortable with you should do. The earlier we get the shirts I think is better especially if they have to be altered. I am still debating about the XL and XXL.I know I ordered the XLfiguring it is a 1XL in womens. I am going to go to the store and try on some men's ****s. My husband is a 3X so that is no help to me.

My daughter and her group are in Portugal. They went to Fatima yesterday and now they are on there way back to Madrid. World Youth Day officially starts tomorrw. If anyone is interested tv station EWTN will be carrying the event. My daughter said Spain is going all out for this event. The Pope will arrive on August 18th.
