I'm sorry you can't get a massage.....I have fibromyalgia and it really helps me. I have one every week! I had this Romanian guy do my hot stone massage on the Fantasy....I had him on the Dream last year.....but I am having a senior moment right now and I can't remember his name....anyway, he has GREAT hands! I DID have to tell him to be more gentle on my calves because of my vericose veins, but otherwise........wow!

I wonder why it's so painful for me then. I'm surprised that it helps your Fibro. I also have a lot of inflamation in my body. That could contribute to my pain as well.

I asked my TA if she can call DCL months ago and request a stateroom, the same as we had last year on Magic. I know they usually don't take requests, but my TA said they took a note....and guess what...we didn't get 7076 which was stateroom on Magic, but close enough, it's 7078.

I always request 5122....so does Bev/dylan'smom. I always get it as long as Bev is not in it and vice versa. I HAD it for this cruise, but then DCL kicked me out and put me next door in 5124. They said that my room will remain empty. I don't know why. Probably because Bev paid them off so that she could be in it. hahaha....j/k.

I'll be in 5122 on the Magic out of NYC to Canada in September 2012. I always request it and usually get it. My TA is good to me. (Thanks Monica!)

Yes, but remember there are special massages just for movement of the lymph system that are beneficial.....they are quite gentle....not the deep Swedish that I prefer.

Yes, I was on the first "cast member training" cruise on March 8.....the ship is even more beautiful than the Dream. I love the adult nightclub area on the Fantasy! Wait til you see it!

I hope the Fine Whines are on the ship......I am sure they will be......They are a trio from England and they play 20's and 30's jazz. 2 guys and a girl and they all play saxaphones, sing, also play piano, trumpet, flute, clarinet.....they are great! They played all evening at the Captain's Gala night. also in the French nightclub.

Tell them that Patrick Quick says hi band!

Maybe you need a different medication. I have Fibro and 2 forms of arthritis and love a massage. Sure there will sometimes be an area I ask them to go lightly..but overall I feel better. Just wish I could afford them more often.
