I wonder who sits on the computer in Celebration and monitors these threads? Everyone is entitiled to their opinion and in my opinion people can organize and do things....especially on a 15 night cruise. With the phone calls that were placed today by DCL does that mean they will frown on us playing poker on the ship?
What do you think?
Tom

If they know about it - I have been told, so this is second hand, that they have stopped card games that money was involved in.

Thank you for your efforts!!!!
So, I got this response from DCL this morning (from Alexis Edwards at DCL.Shore.Excursions@disney.com)

We have received your request for the Palo Private Room for your sailing on April 29, 2012

We cannot confirm the Booking of the Private Room until March 29, 2012. The Disney Wonder does not release the Private Room to the Cruise Activities Team until 30 days prior to the sailing.

As of right now I have availability for brunch at 10:30am on May 10, 2012.

The Private Room can accommodate a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 14 Guests. If your guest count falls below 12 or goes above 14 then the Private Room will have to be forfeited.

If the Private Room is confirmed, any Guests that have their own independent Palo Reservation will have it removed. Each Stateroom is only allowed one Palo Brunch dining per sailing.

Once we can confirm the Palo Private Room for your party, you will receive a Confirmation Email. Please make sure to read and inform all Guests of the Policies and Procedures.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

We look forward to assisting you.

So, although it looks like we may get the request filled for May 10th, we have to wait until March 29th at least to get a confirmation.

Just so we don't have overlap, here is who is on my list:

My group of 4
LittleDisneyLover's group of 4
Dolphingirl47
BethE's group of 2
Chip&Dale&fun's group of 2

Looking to finish up organizing my FE's and I am missing some information on the following families:

Eeyorluver10-What are children's names and ages? Are you bring both of your girls and your son?

And tomatoface, I show you have two kids but do not have names or ages either?

Can anyone help me out, thanks!!!:thumbsup2

Can someone help this native L.A. boy who grew up by the coast? What is this thing called snow you are talking about?

White frozen precipitation. I should ask you about the glowing orb in the sky. We rarely see it here!

Snowing here in March...really? I so need to get to Hawaii soon! :thumbsup2

I don't get this weather ... We hit 27 Celcius today ... that's 80 Farenheit. This is Record Breaking for us ... Last year it was 10 Celcius (around 50 Farenheit). They are out of desk fans at Walmart! :rotfl:

for tomatoface-Cameron - boy age 10 will be 11 on 5/5 and Bailey - girl age 7

I'm new to this group, but hoping someone can answer a question. I will be on this cruise with my DS 11. What is the earliest recommended departure time for a flight on the 14th. And what if I was flying from Orange County(SNA), it looks like there are shuttles available, can anyone confirm if that is true?

No laundry. Laundry is a chore. Chores are not done on vacation. Of course I am not flying for this trip so I do not need to worry about bag weight problems for flying. Maybe Kim should tell her boss she needs to go on the ship so that their is not another famous DCL pin line again. I just can't believe they have not figured this out yet.

I will let you know if she is going to be onboard, I will see her for the MV of the Fantasy...I doubt it, since the RSP for the fall pin event is due to go out any day now. She had a hard time with the MV of the Dream. Oddly enough she wasn't involved with Alaska at all - that went fairly well. The wristband thing seemed to work, but again - it caused a line. I agree with earlier posts about the form in the cabin (I do not recall which cruise that was on - the first TA or MED maybe?)

:laughing::rotfl2::lmao:
Too funny....I work nights - that ugly day moon is a killer!
I'm melting....I'm melting

Interesting. I may have to e-mail my person back because they sent me...

The private room in Palo has been held in your name for May 9 at 10:30 for 14 adults for the brunch.

I would suggest you reconfirm this once on the ship. Have a wonderful cruise.

Bon Voyage.

Though, she was very nice and helpful!

Can you list who you have in your Palo group also please. I am not sure if I am included in one or not...thought I was but I am losing track of some things.....:confused3...maybe doing too much :rotfl2:

The glowing orb, what would you like to know? I see it all the time. I agree with others. The form in the room will be the best way to make sure a famous line does not form.

For those who asked me about parking, you can park there for the whole time we are on the cruise - complimentary. If you have any special needs regarding your room accommodations, don't forget to let me know. For those who would rather call me with your credit card number, please email me and I'll will send you my phone number. In order to save time, I will need the name on the credit card, billing address, security code (on the back of your card) and expiration date.

Bev

REALLY?!?!!! :woohoo:Do we need this noted on our particular room reservation? Lordie...just saved Cheri and I about $180 bucks! If it needs to be noted on the reservation I'll have Cheri/Monica notify you. I'll be e-mailiing you from work tomorrow to do a phone call with my credit card number for the room for Pam and I. ALSO, there is a shuttle to the port on departure morning...or did I dream that? (Free or cost...reservation required?)

I've been so focused on house guests and my final four weeks of work, that none of this info seems to be sinking in! I've got just under two weeks between retirement and the cruise and I think nothing cruise related is going to get done till then. :sad2:

Just got a flyer w/coupon discount for Catherine's and saw a perfect top for dinner and perhaps Champagne Girls too...so a little shopping may be done this weekend (AND I've got a $30 gift card buriing a hole in my wallet)

.

Can someone help this native L.A. boy who grew up by the coast? What is this thing called snow you are talking about?

As Paul stated white frozen percipitation. Here people strap sticks on their feet and slide down the mountain on the stuff. Quite fun, they say. :)

Paul, that is what I LOVE about living here. We get the snow, rain, grapple, etc but between that yellow, glowing orb appears in a beautiful blue sky. I do not miss the day after day after day of cloudy in OR.
