Corinna, are you allergic to bananas, too? I spend a lot of time on cruises, it seems, avoiding hidden bananas!

Unfortunately though. Over here it is a fairly rare allergy to have. I had never come across anybody who is allergic to bananas until I met my now mother in law. There is three of us on here that are allergic to bananas. Normally I keep quite about this when I am cruising, but with the possibility of 5 Hawaiian menus, I am worried about hidden bananas so I will let them know this time.

Thanks to everyone working on these great cruise events for us, especially for the Champagne Girls and the FE's! Lots of work involved and it is much appreciated.

Do we have any specifics yet for the Secret Mickey? So that we can get our gifts in order... Have never done any of these events before and I am so looking forward to all this! Thanks again everyone!!

Does some know who JannellCarasco is? My search came up with nothing here on DIS or FB.

She is my Facebook friend and also will be doing one of the jewellery workshops.

She is on the roll call.....we just need her daughters names because she only lists their age on there.

Please EVERYONE on the FE's with KIDS....please post name and ages. I may only be in section 1, but I think I will have a lot more kids friendly items than we have kids there and would like to share them with kids in some of the other sections. But like to sort them ahead of packing into names and cabins ready to go.

I saw Janell's room posted a while back - it was 6099 & I added it to my FE list.

Speaking of the fe list, I still don't have Mermaidloving's room number though. Anyone have that one? Getting closer to having this list complete....yay!!

just to let you all know....we will be gone for a week.....going on a pre inaugural Disney Fantasy to the Western Caribbean. I am not sure how much I will be online.....you never know how fast the internet will be.

I wrote to my contact person to ask if a room for 95 ladies could be found onboard and this is the response I got back from him:


"I received the same request from someone earlier this month for what looks to be the same event."


OK Now I'm confused. It either has to be for another cruise or another event on our cruise.

I thought I'd pop by and let you know it was probably our cruise causing the confusion Thank you again Ellaenchanted for all of your helpful information and advice to set up our own Pink Champagne Girls meet We have heard back from DCL and we are all set

My son's name is Kaleb and he is 4. He is really looking forward to being part of the FE. Hopefully I will be done in time because every time I complete one he takes it and says he needs that one too.

I think you should check your calendar again, unless you are going to be air lifted in to the ship in the middle of the Pacific. The DCL website says we sail in 52 days.

I have to admit that I really don't understand the animosity towards the people who use the FB page, but I personally feel like it is easier to find things and track conversations on FB vs. on the DIS Boards. I certainly hope people are not attempting to include/exclude others based on if they are able to keep up with the 3 pages a day added here on DIS that frequently don't have to do with planning for our trip. We have a great group of people on BOTH sites so I hope everyone can appreciate that.

Terrie it's YOU!!!! I was so confused. DCL lead me to believe that there was another Champagne Girls tasting on my cruise. How crazy!! I'm so glad that you're having a tasting on the Fantasy Maiden Voyage. Are you holding the event in PINK!!!! I swear they stole the idea from us.....hahahaha. I hope you have a very fun event and take a pink picture and share it with us over here and we'll send you back a picture of ours on your thread. Thanks for clearing up the mystery!!!!!! Have a blast!!!!!!!!!

Animosity is a pretty strong word. I did not sense any animosity from anyone. For those that are actually doing the planning of events, the more places we need to check and notify people, the more difficult it is. Those who have experienced this pointed out the challenges of this early on and it was agreed that the planning would be done here. Personally, I have more trouble keeping up with the FB page than the DIS. Scan one thread here or read 4 or 5 on FB. Just my thoughts.

LOL No conflicting PCG meet on your cruise We are having ours in Ooh La La. I believe that is the Fantasy's version of Pink. DCL is having us run ours a bit different than what has been done in the past though We are excited none the less I will definteily post pics. They should be interesting We have a good number of men that would like to be honorary PCG's so they are attending too and have agreed to wear pink shirts, feather boas and tiaras throughout the entirety of the meet
