just to let you all know....we will be gone for a week.....going on a pre inaugural Disney Fantasy to the Western Caribbean. I am not sure how much I will be online.....you never know how fast the internet will be.

I will check back in when we get back on the 15th! I'll bet you will have at least 50 pages filled by then!

I have two different names for the same cabin that are very similar...is this one person (typo)? or are there two different people in the cabin??

LOL :laughing: No conflicting PCG meet on your cruise :goodvibes We are having ours in Oh La La. I believe that is the Fantasy's version of Pink. DCL is having us run ours a bit different than what has been done in the past though :confused3 We are excited none the less :yay: I will definteily post pics. They should be interesting popcorn:: We have a good number of men that would like to be honorary PCG's so they are attending too and have agreed to wear pink shirts, feather boas and tiaras throughout the entirety of the meet :lmao:

OH that's hysterical about the men joining in and getting their pink on too. Oh La La sounds like a very fun place to hold the event. How many people do you have attending, including the men? How is DCL having you run yours? I'm just curious. I know you're going to have a blast!!! Enjoy and Cheers!!!!

Looking at the roll call I bet that is a typo because there is no other name but the second one. Interesting is that they are listed for 8 of the 9 sections...all but my section #1 Heather I can't imagine how you kept track of all that wanted more than one section :eek:

I was wondering the same thing. Each cruise I have an idea that I will relax and see a movie in the huge theater or under the stars. This time I may have the time. Strange - on PC, I think we only saw one.....and some of my friends wonder what we will do on a two week cruise. Silly friends.:dance3:
 
I got a call yesterday while I was on the road... all I know is that they want to reschedule our 8:15AM tour. She said to call back today. The number on my cell goes to Member Services and while they tried to be helpful I doubt I'm really supposed to call Au'lani directly in order to change my time. I looked back at the original email which gave a different phone number - the number I used to book the tour - and so far that number has been non-stop busy for hours.

Just wondering if any others got this call... why are they rescheduling, did they add any tours later in the afternoon, by any chance did you get any additional phone numbers that might work for me? We're fairly limited when we can go so I don't want DVC automatically assigning a different time, but I also can't spend hours trying to return their call. I really really really want to see the resort - so excited - but not at the cost of it messing up our entire day.

So did any of you others happen to get this call?

I too got a call from DVC. I was signed up early afternoon and they just moved it back a half hour for me.

Speaking of champagne, we had a glass last night as we drug the formal wear out of the closet and the bags from 2008 PC Cruise....And, thankfully, it fit....This is good news as now I have a gown I can wear. The bad news is that I have found six formal/semiformal outfits that fit and I am not dragging all of them along....so it is time for a selection. What to take, what to take, what to take? I got carried away in the early cruising days and hit a few too many sales:rotfl:

I also drug out the old Hawaiian sundresses.....they fit too......now the cruise t-shirts are being displaced. As I said, maybe I could set up a shop on the pool deck and sell the extra??????:laughing: Why? To make room for more souvenir shirts?????

Note to self, no shopping on this cruise or while in port.:scared1:

You are so good that everything you tried on from 08 still fits. I have gone up a few sizes since then. I keep having to buy new things to fit.

Just make sure you have something pink that you can wear. This one is going to be a BIG one and very special. We'll have fun!!!!

Ok home from work ... I got about 50 pms today and im trying to make all the changes. The list will be different again tonight. There were several people who were supposed to be in all groups and werent , I guess we probably could have had 10 groups. Theres alot of spelling probs ( hubby typed these in sunday morning after working all night so im sorry).

The 3 ladies no name dont have a dis name but the son does,its his mom,mil and grandmother,he asked if they could participate and I said yes.I emailed him today with the info and if I dont hear back we take him off so that group would go down.

I also agree FB was a big problem because people didnt sign the roster I wanted to use, the original roll call sheet wasnt fixed and they arent seeing posts people make.

Like I said ill fix everything I have tonight and then guess throw in the towel...give it about half an hour and print them again.

You did a an AMAZING job! I know how much work it is- I did it on one of the previous big cruises and there was no facebook to contend with. It's a shame it's been so complicated for you.

In my view - you want to participate in DIS activities? DO IT ON THE DIS!

I have to admit that I really don't understand the animosity towards the people who use the FB page, but I personally feel like it is easier to find things and track conversations on FB vs. on the DIS Boards. I certainly hope people are not attempting to include/exclude others based on if they are able to keep up with the 3 pages a day added here on DIS that frequently don't have to do with planning for our trip. We have a great group of people on BOTH sites so I hope everyone can appreciate that. :goodvibes

I don't think animosity is the right word. Frustration covers it much more accurately. I have had an absolute nightmare pulling information together for the various activities that I am heading up. Some people are only on here, some only on Facebook and some can't be bothered to check in and respond to requests for information through either medium and then complain if they have been left off something.

Oh La La does look like it will be fun and goes perfectly with a PCG meet on the Fantasy. The men are all being good natured about it and ribbing each other about feather boas, tiaras and wearing pink :rotfl: I think it should make for an interesting picture in the end :laughing:

We initially had 65 sign up. Of those 15 or so were men. Sippers $5 and Guzzlers $10. I requested DCL to charge my stateroom for everything. When DCL got back to me they said our max was 40-50. They said they would require a guest list by 3/26 (we sail 3/31) with cabin numbers for each participant and they would charge $20 per person no cancellations, non refundable even if they don't show. They have not told me what the $20 per person includes or doesn't include. I have sent an e-mail back for clarification. I was told they did the same thing on the WBTA cruise.

I know we will have a blast! I am really looking forward to it and so are the rest of the "girls" :rotfl2:

Yes - hahahaha about the shopping ban as well. Maybe I will need to buy a pink Hawaiian shirt....I did find two potential pink shirts....Pink seems to be absent from my closet but one of these will be in the suitcase...It is on the list....Bring Pink!!!!!!:cloud9:
