Well I don't do EBPC for two reasons. First being I live in L.A. so it's going the wrong way. Second the cruise is three hours shorter going East.

I got an email yesterday from DCL:

"Great news! Your next Disney cruise is going to be filled with all sorts of wonders. In fact, there's so much to do onboard and onshore, we've created this quick list of important dates, plus tips and reminders to help you plan the perfect cruise."

I cannot seem to find out where the list is on the website. Anyone find it? This will help me plan activities.

On the FE front, I too have a question/request for feedback...

On our Alaska cruise, we all made/bought a "cabin gift" which was really for the adults in the cabin and then we made/bought "kid gift(s)" that were age and sex appropriate for all the kiddos in the cabin.

For those of you who have already started putting together your FEs, are yours more for the adults since you don't yet know what age/sex the kids will be in your group?

Or, are you putting something together that can generally appeal to all kids regardless of sex or age?

Or, are you putting together multiple FEs for each cabin?

I just want to be sure I'm in line with everyone else on this, so can some of you share just enough about your FE as to not give the surprise away, but that can help me know what is the "norm"

Great questions Stephanie....I finished some things for adults, since I don't know how many men/woman will be there I stopped, I don't want to many. Would be great to get a list soon, to know how many adults and kids we have.

I like to make like adult and kids gifts and specially for kids I like to separate them between girls and boys.

Is anyone sending box with FE to the ship? I'm not sure what I'll do, didn't look up for info yet. Last year I sent it, but we sailed out of Cape Canaveral.

2. We are staying at the Grand Californian in a 2 bdrm DVC villa for Friday and Saturday night before the cruise.

Actually I did mean WDW......I just had the wrong cruise. We just aren't as organized as we usually are for these two cruises. Got to still book the hotel in California and Florida. At least our flights are booked. Work keeps getting in the way.

I have frequently lurked on this board, but do not really post. I having been trying to access the DCL website to see the shore excursions and can not access them at all? I am missing something??? Do you have to be PIF to view them...I have until 2/14 as I booked this one the first day of booking. My husband and I were planning on going and he has recently taken a new job. I do not think he is going to be able to get the time off, so I am trying to convince my newly retired (yet somewhat ill) father to come with me. Before I really try to push him, I wanted to check out the excursion and see if there were any that we could both enjoy and manage, but I can not seem to find them.

Go to this site: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/cruises-destinations/hawaii/ports/ and click on whichever port you are interested in. Then click on Port Adventures. Click on the link for one of the items. When its page comes up, you will see a list of additional choices and you can click on those to check them out. Hope this helps.

OK, I am asking today about your "unmagical" salad.

We had all sat down to dinner and were eating our appetizers/salads. I had made my way about 2/3s through my salad when I uncovered a deceased fly. When our server came around, he noticed that I was a little surprised and asked what was wrong. I showed him the fly and said "Now this was not very magical." With that we all kind of cracked up and it's been a joke with us since then. I think they were very grateful that I didn't make a big fuss (scream, faint, etc), but what are you going to do on a cruise? Make them give you a free meal?

First of all lots of prayers for you. Remember these tests are done to rule OUT possible issues, not because they think that is what it is. Years ago I had a similar vision problem and when all was said and done it was stress related (stress due to another health issue) more than physical, totally treatable and went away, decreasing slowly, after a few weeks. Think positive and try not to strain your eyes too much in the meantime trying to focus or else you will have to deal with eye strain when you get double vision corrected.

I have started working on mine. Making one small item that will be for most everyone, individually, but not personalized. Have planned what I will do for any kids once I know how many, ages etc and know what I hope to do for adults. So basically I am planning to do a gift for each person and a second gift that everyone gets the same thing. I have been thinking about this a lot!! Have to watch budget and still make it nice...really need a

To me, it doesn't matter what direction the ship is going, a cruise can never be going the wrong way in my opinion as long as I am on the ship! LOL The timing of the EBPC works better for taking the kids out of school. I am hoping that they will be so tired from the cruise that they will sleep on the plane on the way back!

Praying that it's just overtiredness or something equally benign.

That was one of the things we loved about the WBTA: we got 5 extra hours of cruise .
