This is SUCH a warm, welcoming group - I feel so blessed to be cruising with all of you! pixiedust:

It just seems no matter the obstacle or concern, someone lends a hand, offers some genuinely thoughtful advice or just plain encourages.

Wow

:grouphug:

Well said. I was just thinking how much I am looking forward to meeting everyone in person. :)

Very true! That is why we stick with Disney too. I have always felt safe with Bethany and with all our diser friends on board there is always extra eyes on her :thumbsup2

We saw the itineraries and will prob jump on Greece. Ever since I was young ive wanted to go there ( too much Love Boat I guess). We did the Med cruise 2 years ago and it was fast paced but saw some beautiful places, one of which was Malta which we loved and have said we wanted to go back so this would be our chance. The people there were so friendly, beautiful sights and we did a jeep excursion that was supposed to be 1/2 day and it turned into all day and we saw so much and felt we really got our monies worth.
Im going to have to get one or two more jobs to keep up with disneys itinierary releases :rotfl2:

Heather,

You will love Greece!!! I did a 12 night Holland America cruise last summer that started in Venice, went to Split, Croatia, Athens, Istanbul, Mykonos, Ephesus, Santorini, and Katakolon, Greece. I loved every minute!

Hi Janis, that sounds like the kind of cruise I'm looking to do. I'm sorry that I couldn't book Disney going to Greece......it was just more money than I could justify spending....or could afford. What I'm paying for the Hawaii cruise is the most amount of money I want to spend on a cruise.

Can I ask you please, what time of year did you do that cruise? Just in case I get the opportunity to do it for less, it's good to know what's a good time.

We have late dining, and I think it would be fun to be linked with the group, but I am traveling with 2 kids. Looking at the roll call, it looks like no one else has kids in the late dining linking. So, I'm posing this to the group, good idea, or bad idea? I'm really fine either way, so if there is any reservations at all please speak up. I'm used to traveling with the kids, and I don't want to intrude.

I have changed to late dining, and I too have 2 kids both boys.. ages almost 5 and 2. I think my guys would enjoy having other kids to pal with during dinner. I would be interested in being linked.

I went in late July last year. I was a little disappointed that Disney didn't have the same itinerary. Then again with the prices I've seen I probably wouldn't have done it anyway.

Just checking back in after vacation - sorry, I do not think I can read all 50 pages that I missed - had a great time at Aulani!

So we pulled the trigger on a back to back in the Med in 2013 - Venice 12 night + Mallorca 4 night. :teacher: Booked at 8:41am today. :cool1:

Over the years I've been gradually extending my 'long' vacation at work...14 day cruises were 2 weeks worth usually...This Hawaii cruise is now 12 work days. The 16 days next summer will be 13 work days. I think that's about the limit before people realize I'm pretty much gone for 3 weeks...:rolleyes1

We're most excited for the chance to see Croatia and Mallorca. We love Monte Carlo and will get to visit there twice. Plus we can go back to Italy...so it's all good.

We can't wait for this Hawaii trip though - we are so ready for a break!!! :faint:

Oooo, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to hear about it :thumbsup2.

Sending Becky our final final list for the shirts and material. Anyone else need to order or change anything on their order, let me know ASAP.

Val

Vista Prints is having their semi-annual clearance sale. I know they are always having a sale but this one does look better then others.

They are offering their tee-shirts for $4 each with free 7 day free shipping on orders of $30 or more. They also have a lot of free stuff available, including magnets.

If you want access to any of the images from our cruise shirts you can download from my Flicker file. Maybe Brooklyn can tell you how to access her great images too.

Anyway, they have also offerred me an additional discount for both me and friends if I send them their e-mail (of course I would never do that unless you asked me to).

I have all ready ordered cruise tees from them. The quality of the shirts are good, not as nice as say LandsEnd but not bad. The images printed fine. I have found their customer service to be wonderful. Unfortunately, they still don't do kid sizes.

Val,

does VistaPrint printing everything you send them? Last year I tried few other t-shirt printing services and they always complained about Disney copyright images, even if there was only black Mickey Mouse head.

True , this is how I met my BF Holly 6 years ago when her and Tyler were seated with us. I must say disney is very perceptive on this. Hubby and I work long shifts and at night too so we dont get alot of dinners together so on a cruise dinner is our fav part. On the med cruise they sat a family with us who were just "rude", never said hi,husband and wife fought and the kids listened to ipods the first night etc. The maitre'd actually took us aside and asked if everything was ok . I guess the waiter had mentioned it to him. Anyway I didnt want to make a big deal of it but figured it was "our" vacation so he suggested he move us as they werent going to change . I felt bad but then realized that I dont want to have every night like that and I just felt they didnt want to socialize or even enjoy dinner. This past cruise we were really lucky because we were at deb and johns table were we had a great time and met some really nice people.

We have always been incredibly lucky with our table mates and have always taken potluck. We are still in touch with a number of them and two of our table mates from the Med cruise have become close friends. They attended our vow renewal and we will stay with for three nights before this cruise.

On the Mexican Riviera Cruise in October, we ended up sitting by ourselves and this was not to my liking.

I would be all over this itinerary if DCL offered this.

I know what you mean. Even at opening day prices, we would pay about $400 per person more for the 12 night Med then we are paying for the 15 night Hawaii cruise.

I have a bunch of cruise shirts with all kinds of Disney characters on them and they had never had a problem printing those.

As Corinna has said, they never question my images (I've never tried to have them print naughty things). I've already had a number of our shirt images printed on tees and magnets and gotten them back.

Let me know if you want me if you vista to send you discount info or if you need my Flicker images info.

Is it just me or has this web site been a bear today?

This morning we booked the WBPC in May 2013. Got the same sideways room I am in for this cruise.

Would love to hear about your trip and maybe some tips please. We're leaving to Aulani on February 5th which will also be our very first trip to Hawaii.

Aulani Tips: rent a car
Don't miss Menehune trails and cultural self guided tours, bring a set of ear buds, the Sunset and story telling, look for hidden Mickey's all over, the Starlit Hui (SP) , get out and see the Island, Leonards Malasadas, we did not eat there made my own stir fry and Spam Musuhbi , shave ice, better off property, Plate Lunch, Giovani's Shrimp truck,

The place will WOW you, the best CM's we have experienced in a long time.
