Hello fellow Hawaii cruisers....my DW and I will be joining you. I see that a lot of people that were on the WBTA last year with us will be on this cruise also......if someone would be kind enough so I don't have to go through thousands of posts could you kind of give me the readers digest review of the cruise.....we already e-mailed about the lanyards but is it to late for the shirts and are is anybody going to try and set up some excursions on our own like to Pearl Harbor etc? We are kind of late joining the thread because I was concerned as to weather we would be able to swing paying for the cruise....but made the final payment so we are with ya...

we are either too old, or too young to do the tour we want in Maui....sent a message to =DCL and calling them in the morning.....

Glad you got most of what you want, Angie. I just hope there's something left for us measly golds .

Here is our itinerary:

Hilo - Volcano and Macadamia Nut Factory Adults Only (12:15PM)
Maui - Crater Drive (not the road to Hana) Adults Only (8:15AM)
Maui - Lahaina Luau (4:15PM)
Oahu - VIP Pearl Harbor (7:15AM) I am also holding out for the helicopter tour here but am not sure if we will be able to do both anyway
Kauai - Plantation and Train Ride (8:15AM) We will also be doing 4X's on our own this day

Palo was mostly booked by the time I looked, but I grabbed what I could and will try to adjust and add once onboard.

I plan to call Disney tomorrow just to verify everything and see about the helicopter tours. Hopefully, something will come of it.

I can't believe we are all going, it feels so real now! I hope everyone got what they wanted!

Count me in for not being able to book the Maui excursion. Iao Valley & Maui Tropical Plantation. Seems to be lot's of problems with site. It would kick me out then back on and back out again. Done for tonight.

We got Palo dinner, Palo brunch, and Maui luau. We are taking a helicopter tour on our own in Kauai, private Hilo tour to Volcano Natl Park and a private waterfall tour in Maui before the luau. We are doing Pearl Harbor on our own and after that?????

Took a little longer than expected to book everything but overall I am pleased with what we booked. Here's our itinerary:

May 5 - Maui Ocean Centre & Maui Tropical Plantation - 8:30 am & Old Lahaina Luau - 4:15 pm
May 6 - Arizona Memorial & City Tour - Adult - 8:00 am
May 7 - Kilohana Plantation & Train Ride, Wailua River - 8:15 am
May 9 - Palo Dinner - 6:00 pm
May 11 - Palo Brunch - 10:30 am

That sucks as my friends made sure the got the money together to pay in full so they could come with us to Brunch and Tea.

....we booked Palo brunch for Day 4 (May 2nd) and we booked a couples spa villa followed by Palo dinner (we always do these on the same day so it's an "extra special day" ) on Day 12 (May 10th).

Once we get aboard the ship we'll probably try to book a group dinner at Palo with friends...and a few more spa experiences, too.....but for now, we're set!

I'm sure there will be. Not so sure about the silver's traveling with us though. Hopefully I will be able to get them booked with us when their booking opens...whenever that is. They do not even own a computer so I do all this techno stuff for them.

Well I booked the nursery for this time, just incase I can work some Magic. They are silver so I am worried.

most of the time you can tweak your Palo reservations to add more people - esp if it's from 2 to 4 people.


I found out we were linked with 2 other staterooms (silvers/golds). I on purpose DON'T link up with others prior to online booking night as to not lock each other out (prior to Platinum).
