I am confused about Pirate Night. Someone said it was May 6 and the person I spoke to this morning said it was May 11= what gives???????????

Hopefully this stops alot of rumors, just got off the phone with DCL services, and all activies for the nights at sea...ie Prites Night/ Formal nights/ Semi Formal nights are TBA....enless you have it in writing from DCL, they told me they are TBA....

Hope this helps all the rumors....

Is there a list for the Fish Extender sign up? I recall signing up (will be my first one) but don't see the list on the spreadsheet.

Have to get going on assembling the FE soon....

I don't know what to say but the May 4 date I provided is taken right from the itinerary I printed of my shore excursions therefore I'm guessing that is the day that DCL is planning for Pirate Night, otherwise, why would DCL print Pirate Deck Party 9:45 pm on the itinerary?

Also I just checked Palo High Tea and all of the sea days were available at 3 pm for a party of 3.

Thank you for the information. That is a little disappointing, but I appreciate you telling me.

I was only looking at brunch during the first set of sea days before we get to the islands. But, by the time I looked after I completed my excursion bookings, there were not many left. I grabbed one brunch spot on the first sea day at 11:30 as that was my only choice, but I plan to change that and add a second brunch once on board. I did not look at tea, but dinner was pretty booked, too so I am thinking tea may need to be booked once on board as well. ...

Just popping in to say yes, there is a separate Platinum waiting area & it's pretty strictly enforced as well. Everyone who sat there had to show a #2 boarding pass to remain in the area, even though it was pretty sparsely filled when we were there a couple weeks ago (#1 pass was concierge & special needs).

And.....experience has taught me to book Palo FIRST, excursions second. It just seems the Palo bookings go a lot faster - even though with all those sea days there will be tons of opportunities to eat there.

With all the sea days I am betting you will be able to book whatever you want first day onboard, just maybe not on a specific day. Give it a try anyway. ....

Yep!! There will be cancellations as well as days the restaurant is half full!!

Mine says the same. The formal nights may be different than posted, but as to Pirate Night it is in writing.

It sure does seem like a lot of us had less-than-terrific 2011s. There definitely were some bright spots (new granddaughter, vacation w/MrsMork & Dr. Hug), but it certainly had more than its share of low lights.

Buh bye, 2011. Don't let the door hit you in the rear! And, 2012, please be good to us (you've got an advantage: we're all going to Hawaii together! ).

I am kind of sad to see 2011 go. Between the Panama Canal Cruise right at the beginning, a magical vacation in Dubai, our trip to Disneyland and Mexican Riviera cruise and most importantly our vow renewal, this was one amazing year. I have high hopes for 2012 as well, but it has a tough act to follow.

Here is our itinerary:

Hilo - Volcano and Macadamia Nut Factory Adults Only (12:15PM)
Maui - Crater Drive (not the road to Hana) Adults Only (8:15AM)
Maui - Lahaina Luau (4:15PM)
Oahu - VIP Pearl Harbor (7:15AM) I am also holding out for the helicopter tour here but am not sure if we will be able to do both anyway
Kauai - Plantation and Train Ride (8:15AM) We will also be doing 4X's on our own this day

Palo was mostly booked by the time I looked, but I grabbed what I could and will try to adjust and add once onboard.

I plan to call Disney tomorrow just to verify everything and see about the helicopter tours. Hopefully, something will come of it.

I can't believe we are all going, it feels so real now! I hope everyone got what they wanted!

I am also hoping for Volcano and Macadamia Nut Factory Adults Only at Hilo. Graham wants to do the cycling excursion, but that is not my thing.

We are still undecided on exactly what to book.Found out that formal night is April30th. There are two semi formal nights- May 10 and 12 and Pirate night is May 11. That is what I was tole this morning.

Oh, I was hoping for two formal nights and one semi-formal like we had on the Transatlantic and the Panama Canal cruise. Having said that, I have three full-length gowns that are coming on this cruise and I have every intention to wear them all.

I have not seen the person who is going to organize this on here for months. I am in the same boat. I am always making my own Fish Extender gifts and could do with getting started.

Secret Mickey

The cruise is quickly approaching and tomorrow we can finally say that we are cruising this year. MJGirl and I are therefore now in the process of nailing down details for Secret Mickey. I had a look at the sign up spreadsheet and I realised that there is at least one family that I am pretty sure is no longer cruising with us and there are plenty of names on there that I do not recognize.

If you have signed up for Secret Mickey, could you please either reply on here or send me a PM to let me know if you are still taking part in Secret Mickey? If there are multiple names for your party on the spreadsheet, could you also advise if you are taking part as individuals or as a couple/ family/ group?

I will cross-post this on our Facebook page so that I catch as many people as possible.

I'm really worried about The Old Lahaina Luau and whether there will be any availability when we finally can book (silver). The fact that it is the only luau offered and there is no possible way to book it independently is making me nervous. Everything else I figure we can either book independent or something else/similar and be fine.

Hello all ...

Just popping in to say Hi and a very Happy New Year to all. I am happy to see 2011 over with. It has been a trying year. Had to go to 5 funerals and bury my poor Budde the Bichon this year. 2012 has got to be better.

I won't be pif until next week. Asked Disney for a week extension due to banking hours over the holidays and delays in getting my bonds to cashed. Being a mere gold, means I need to wait until Jan 14 to book excursions.

I hope to get more involved in the new year on the boards. I'm still planning the Secret Mickey and will send out more information soon. You can sign up on the spreadsheet.

Jon ... congrats on keeping it a secret with Candida. Now that she knows, it would be great to have a southern Ontario meet. Limeridge Mall sounds good, as it is between Niagara Falls and London (Hi Katypop! I'm from Waterloo) and there is a Disneystore there too!!!

We were able to do all our bookings last night before we went to bed (WELL past my normal bedtime of about 10-10:30pm LOL)...but I forgot to do our check-in documents, etc....and this morning I keep getting an error page when I try to do it.

I think I have not seen her around on here since before the discussion about splitting the FE into groups happened. So she might not even be aware of this. I think the only person on this thread that knows her was Marilyn (granmaz).

My mother-in-law passed away last evening (Alzheimers), so you KNOW I wasn't on line at midnight. However, I remembered to do it this morning - got Palo dinner on Pirate night, Palo Brunch on day 11, and the adult Volcano national park tour.
