DaisyMae...we are from Nashua! I am sorry I cannot help you with hotels...we are staying at the airport Hyatt as we always do. The only excursion we have booked is the Fury Catamaran...glad to hear reports of people liking it! My dd's (16 and 13) have already started packing! We also just found out that my dd #2's best friend and her family are also going on the cruise...they are a great family so we are excited!!

Oops...i forgot to add that we also booked the banana boats for the kids and my dh. After doing it our first year, I will not be trying it a second time. It was fun once...but once was enough for me!

Thanks to all for the helpful advice. Now that we've booked excursions and the trip is just around the corner, my family is really excited. My daughter is 10 and in 4th grade. She was hoping to meet someone. Anyone on this forum with a daughter similar in age? Thanks again and I'm glad to see that New Hampshire is well represented!

Hey Daisy, our DD is also 10 and in fourth grade, her name is Gina. She promises to start posting more on the kids thread, so maybe if your DD posts, Gina will respond, if not they'll probably meet on board.

we didn't get our stuff yet, but my husband's cousin in California called me on friday to say that they had received theirs.
i can't wait to get mine! our flight was booked as part of the package so i don't even know when our flight is yet.
i went and bought some snokelling gear for all of us, although i didn't get fins. my girls don't like them and would never use them other than on this cruise.

Hey everyone - I haven't posted in a while but I get on here a couple of times a week and read up on things.

Daisymae - My daughter Megan is 9 yrs old and in 4th grade. She posts over on the kids thread sometimes (when I am around to do it with her). Look on the main page for "Kids Thread April 23, 2005" - a bunch of kids are posting on there.

We are getting so excited over here. I am starting to pack this week - i figure I might as well - it's not like it's shorts or capri weather here in NJ. I can't wait for warm weather and sunshine.

Has anyone utilized the spa in the past? I had my hair done on our Cruise in Aug. 2003 - DH and I renewed our vows - the Captain officiated - it was AWESOME! But this time I would like to indulge a bit in some of the spa treatments. Any recommendations?

I got Docs today and i got our room number. No upgrade but thats OK..the only thing Im not too sure about is that we got an adjoining room. Ive read it could be louder then the others ...I guess it all depends on the neighbor we will have. Anyway Im sooooo excited I have been going through all our paperwork. Hope everyone else gets their docs soon...See you all soon. Cathy

I got ours in the regular mail from our travel agent not from the DCL. I still haven't got anything about the Romantic Escape that we signed up for and paid for already. Does anyone know when we get to make our reservations for Palos and massages?? Do I have to call DCL to get that set up?? Thanks for the info.

I got mine today!! If you book w/travel agent they send them to you unless you specify you want Disney to ...I did just that...everything looks in order!!

I have a copy of the DCL Passporter and would be happy to look and see if the cabins you have are listed as connecting.

Just thought of something, from reading these boards I've learned that in the hotel industry there is a difference between adjoining and connecting. Apparently adjoining means that the reservations are related and I think then they try to put you near each other. Connecting means that there is a door inbetween.

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post your room numbers in public view.

Hey Cathy, I booked the REAS package as well, I made my palo and spa reservations when I paid in full about a month ago, I would call asap, they only had 3 spa times available for the day I wanted (Wednesday my anniversary), hopefully they will have something left that would be good for you. Let me know how it turns out!

My parents got their's last night. They live about 10 minutes away and went through the same TA (DU) so I'm hoping ours comes soon.

Hi Sillysmom Thaks for the info. I was just wondering if you called your TA or the DCL to book your reservations? I called both awhile ago and my TA said I had to wait till I got on the boat so I called DCL and they told me I should receive something in the mail a month before the cruise and then I should call. I still haven't gotten anyting about the RES. Any suggestions??? Thanks sooooo much! Cathy

I rebooke on board last year, first they told me I had to wait, and then the next person I spoke to told me the number for the girl with the reservations. I'm sure if you search the threads for REAS, her name and number will come up, I don't know what I did with it. Good Luck!
