Leaving for Orlando in 13 days! Hoping the weather improves..so far its clouds the 13th and 14th and thundershowers every day until we leave on the 23rd..nothing but sunshine before we get there and after we leave

We leave in a bit more than 2 weeks. So happy to be leaving the snow which is still covering the ground. Some will still be here when we return, but at least I will be able to forget about if tor a while. Magic Bands arrived on Saturday!!

Me too! Missing the good weather by a day on either side! Though to be fair we have been spoiled by INCREDIBLE weather on our last two trips..hot and sunny the entire first trip, and one late afternoon/evening thunderstorm with heavy rain. I'd even be happy with sunny mornings, rain in the afternoon,and clear up for the evening. (Granted, I'd rather 100% sun, but after a cold winter I'll pick my battles)

We're staying at the Royal Pacific (it's a mostly Universal trip for us) but we're going to spend a day at MK to see the new Fantasyland stuff. We'll be at MK on 4/24. We're heading home on 4/27!

Just checked the forecast for my trip and it has improved SIGNIFICANTLY. looking now at MUCH less rain and thunderstorms, warmer temps, and a few days at least of sun! We will have a blast regardless, but I am hoping to come home with a tan

I already bought sunscreen for my trip. The last solo trip I took was during the first week of May. Already hot in Florida compared to here in New York.

Oh my sunscreen is ready to go too taking out our sumer clothes tonight to wash and get packed away so i can not have to deal with last minute packing for once haha

Trying to decide which size of suitcase to use. I could probably go with the carry on. Decision, decisions....

We plan on doing laundry halfway through the trip at Pop so we arent bringing much clothes. We are using one suitcase on the way down and throwing a duffel bag in there in case we make any purchases down there. For a carryon my husband will have the backpack we will be using in the parks and i will just have my purse which is big enough to hold our boarding passes, passports etc

I am going solo so no laundry use for me. I will probably go with the mid size suitcase just because I am taking a couple set of different shoes. Not sure which ones will be comfortable. I am trying the Skecher Go Walks but I usually wear crocs. Little nervous about this trip as both knees aren't in great shape. I may to rent a scooter if need be.

I'm hoping to do some shopping while we're in Orlando (and we have a washer and dryer with our rooms), so I've managed to pack all 5 of us in 2 suitcases. This is a record for us. I thought I was doing really well last spring when we each took one case and one carry-on to Mexico.
