April 2015 Happy Dance!!!!

Its getting closer! So excited for my oldest daughter..its been 3 years since she's been and she hasn't been to new Fantasyland or seen any of the HP stuff at Universal. I'm ready!

18 days to go! We said this was going to be a surprise trip for the boys and I have not said any thing to them:ssst::ssst:. We talk about the trip in code or in Spanish when the kids are around:chat: :rotfl::rotfl:

I have thought about making some shirts for them on our travel date but have not done anything. I have not packed but I know the drill and I have my lists that continues to grow.

Woo-hoo! Made my ADRs this morning and got all I wanted (including BOG). Then when I came home, I had an envelope in my mailbox - my personalized "Incredibles" booklet about my upcoming vacation! Hurry up, ticker, let's go go go!

Oh, and I just read that the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge have announced that their new baby is due April, 2015. Is it awful of me that my first thought was, "Hey, maybe the stand in the UK pavilion will give out free fish and chips when the baby is born!" :upsidedow

Royal birth is a huge deal. I think it would be cool for the UK pavilion to do some thing to celebrate, hopefully on 4/23 or 4/25 those are out EPCOT days.

A week from today is the day before our vacation, so at this time next week we will be having dinner with our petsitters/housesitters to get the boys familiar with them again (they loved them, but it has been about 5 months since they saw the sitters), and turning over the keys. I usually leave packing to the night before, and its very stressful so I'm aiming to have absolutely nothing left to do when I wake up next Sunday . I've already warned my husband not to dare ask for anything 3 hours before we leave for the airport, as per his usual routine lol. Its my goal to have the suitcases packed and all travel docs/confirmation numbers printed out and in my purse with our passports on Saturday, and have all the housecleaning complete by then as well, so that Sunday can just be to relax with the dogs.

What is YOUR usual "day before travel" routine? Relaxing or stressful? (For some of you, that day might be TODAY! :) )

A week from now we will have arrived at MCO and should be driving west!

AJ1983, I told everyone today it was their last chance to tell me their flip flops were too small or they can't find their bathing suit!Like you I want to be packed and ready. Relaxed day before and pizza and a movie for dinner. Fingers crossed our plans come together.

My day-before is usually stressful, filled with last-minute scrambling to clean up the apartment. :crazy2:

I've promised myself I won't let it be that way for my upcoming trip in 19 days! Especially since I will have very little free time in the days leading up to my travel. I'm actually getting off work at 6pm on Friday and driving straight down, 5 hours! :scared: And I have to work everyday in the week leading up to it, so I'm making a schedule for myself to do a little each night and STICKING to it! Wish me luck! :goodvibes

As for packing, that should go smoother. This one is only a 3-night trip, and the packing list has already been made. I'll likely get my small suitcase out tonight and open it up across the guest bed, and slowly fill it up over the next 2-and-a-half weeks! :thumbsup2

In exactly three weeks this time I will be on the plane almost arriving in Orlando. I took out the smallest suitcase I had and was looking to see if it was big enough for just me. I think it is doable. I am getting so excited as well. This is my first trip back in almost 4 years. Everything is changing.

Well, my day before has always been a work day, so usually stressful trying to get things done/make sure things are covered. I'm going to pack as much as I can this coming weekend (although there will be clothes that can't go in until closer because I still have to wear and wash them in the days leading up to the trip). I always worry about forgetting something that has to go in last minute (like pjs, hair brush, etc).

Two weeks from Right This Minute, I will be getting ready to head out to Animal Kingdom! I'm seriously psyching myself up to finally attempt Everest...

Well looks like we are on track! Last night i forced hubby to try on all his clothes, collect up his footwear etc. Its all in the washer right now because unlike karley, we definitly will NOT be able to wear any of it home before florida haha. Suitcase was also dragged out and is now on the floor with other stuff we need (ponchos, footwear, cooler bag, fanny pack, travel toiletries). Looks like i will be able to get that all packed tonight and i willalso print off all our travel docs etc tonight. Only thing left is keeping the house maintained-its clean for now but if i vlink it will look like a tornado hit it. And also karley do everest yoy will love it!

The day before travel I am doing laundry and packing. I make sure all electronics are charged and I look at my list, check it twice then I check it again lol.
