those are the exact dates I am planning for! And I'm also hoping for 9 days as this is our first family trip to disney and I don't think 7 days will be enough. I just got the Monster PIN email this a.m. I wish I could use it!!!!

I am going Apr 29 to may 8 already reached Aaron treehouse. Rate I got was 800 night. Will this go down in Aug when the new rates come out?

We are going in December and buying AP's and hoping for an incredible bounceback rate that we can't pass. DD 5th birthday is April 26th so plan was to go then until we realized that is the day after Easter. Do mow we r hoping for early April or mid May!

Remember the announcement, how there are going to be less discounts starting in 2011? I sure hope they were just trying to scare everyone into booking in 2010. This year over Easter break, was the first time a code was ever offered.

I hate that it is Peak Season and rates are so high. We need a discount to make it seem like the rates are at least semi reasonable.

I have my park tickets, just waiting for flights to open up, and rates to get posted. I don't know why WDW waits until August to adjust room and package rates for 2011.

We were able to use a discount code during our Easter 2004 trip.

I had to have 2 reservations to make it work. The first 2 nights were rack rate. I used the code for the other 7 nights.

I did decide to avoid April, so not really part of this tread anymore. With April being peak season and the last 2 weeks of the month being Easter weeks, I booked my spring trip for May 1-13 at BWV in a standard studio last week. Normally we like to fly in on the Saturday before, but since that is April 30th and will be not only a high weekend rate, but peak season, we opted to come in on Sunday to save money. Good luck to all of the April 2011 travelers.

Agree 100% We are DVC owners, and the points are outrageous for the dates we need to travel next year . We're praying that Disney puts out discounts on rack rates (and then we'll bank our points until 2012 for an off peak trip). Next year our school vacation is the week before Easter (yuck)!! I'm really hoping Disney will still put out discounts. We have NEVER been lucky enough to receive one!! My sister (who is not Disney crazy) just got that "Monster" flier in the mail this past week. I can't use it, but can't seem to throw it away either....

Me and my dh stayed at the BC, and I had a pin code, and I actually paid less then if I rented points. I've been renting from the same owner now for a couple of years. If I would not have had the 45% off, I would of been paying close to over $500 for that same room. Seriously, who pays that amount, besides celebrities. Plus our room wasn't conciere either, just a basic queen size bed room.
