I just scored a work trip in April! I'm so excited!!!
We're staying at YC April 9-11. I'll be in conference all day on the 11th but we'll get 2 days to enjoy Disney (and without any children!).

Hello all fellow April goers ! I found out this morning on another post that the blackout periods for the room discounts and gift card offers have been lifted for the weeks before and after Easter in April. I went into the WDW site to check, it still lists them as blackout dates, but if you put your dates in , the offers will come up !

I already had a free QS dining pin for my package from 4/2-4/8, but I was able to save about $45 on my one night room only at Pop tacked on for 4/9. There weren't any discounts previously for that time !

I'm going to be staying off property this time but spending MOST waking moments at a park (4/17 - 4/23) and I'm going to pick up a green Mickey head to have on me.

haha, I would like to run into a DISer too...last August I was going to meet some DISers but that didn't end up working out. Maybe we'll see ya there...we arrive the 6th.

Finally on the down hill side of getting to go to WDW, 31 days from today, which is also another 184 hours of time I will work before 2 weeks in wonderful Florida.... Yep Excited I am and so are kids, just assuming the wife is April 10th cant come soon enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even with the crappy flight time from the Oregon Coast.
