April 19, 2008 - Western - VERY Early Roll Call - Anyone??!!

From reading the updated Hyperlist (thanks, Denise!) I see that many of us are already booked for excursions, but I just had to share one that I've discovered (after extensive research). Nachi Cocom Beach Club looks like a great place to spend a day on Cozumel. It's an all inclusive beach resort, and the good thing about it is that the prices for the day are based on age - adults, 12 - 17 years and 3 to 11 years. Food, chairs, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included. It's right on the beach but there is also a pool and hot tub.

If you don't want to do the all-inclusive pkg. you can also go and pay $20.00 per day for use of the facilities only. It's about a 15 minute cab ride from the port. My DH Jim and older daughter Meaghan are going on the Jeep excursion, but I think Kelly and I will have a nice beach day for ourselves. Anyone else looking for something to do in Cozumel? I have a qestion for one of the experts here. I filled out all the documents online at disney except for one. The only one it would not let me access is the cruise contract. I was wondering if the reason I cannot acces the cruise contract is that we are using a travel agent. Any ideas?

No - if everything is filled out completely you would be able to pull up your cruise contract. Go back and make sure everything has a check mark and that you took financial responsibility for your kids. Sometimes that will hang you up. It does not matter if you used a TA. It will save you time if you print it and bring it with you.

Cinderella1219-Did you call Dolphin Discovery directly? I did last month and was able to get the Dolphin Encounter and the Royal Swim without a problem. I also told them of a time conflict with the time available on the website and they put us in a different slot-I didn't out right say I knew it could be done, just was real pleasant and asked if it was possible. The person was extremely helpful. Try calling them directly if you haven't done so already. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you, it looks so exciting.

I just checked flights... If you were willing to leave on the 16th... you could fly from AC for 82.00 per person. This is one of the things I do best... Help others get good deals... Also, I am from Jersey... So I know about the high prices.

Okay, maybe someone can help me out. I see all these cute graphic timelines, extra smileys, and other stuff on a lot of your posts. How did you do that? HELP- I want mine to look nice too!!!!

The easiest thing to do is to create a "signature " that will appear every time you post. To do this go to "User CP" on the red bar at the top of the page. There you can create a signature for your posts. You can choose the "smileys" to represent your family, etc. You can also choose an "avatar" - the picture that appears under your disboard name. It's pretty easy to do - trust me if it weren't easy, I'd have nothing! Some of the other folks here are so great at making graphics, I'm sure you'll have all kinds of information in no time. I also noticed its cheaper to book direct!

I'm sorry, I thought you had already been to their website. They have more to offer than DCL and yes it is cheaper. We also will receive vouchers for our taxi since I booked more than 4 programs-great deal. Do a search here on the Dis for Dolphin Discovery-Cozumel, there are several threads that were very helpful when I was researching it. There are a lot of positive reports and tips. I would link to them for you, but I haven't figured that out yet. Good luck.

Hi all.....

Looks like you're going to have a friendly bunch of DISers on this cruise.

In case anyone is interested....... I just wanted to let you know that we gave up a cat 3 on this cruise. We're booked on the Wonder the day after you leave, and waitlisted for a cat 3 on the 4/19 Western. After DCL called yesterday I tried to rearrange flights, but since that is school vacation week in MA, everything is booked. I have no way of knowing if it is still available, but you never know!

Hopefully we'll be at Grills and wave as you go by Saturday evening.
