Oh yay, I have my first requests!!

I posted the pirate one to Facebook only to show as an example. I wrote "April 2011" and then "Disin' On The Dream" and then "Sandy". I was thinking of using my screen name instead but wasn't sure.

OK, few questions to make it easy for me because I'm no disigner, that's for sure.....

1. I'm going with a standard tagline, so are we cool with "Disin' On The Dream" for the Pirate image and "Dreaming of Disney" on the green/Dis image?
2. Do we want our screen names and/or real names?
3. I'm saving them as jpegs and/or word documents.
4. It really would be faster if I could simply post them back to this forum or PM it to your email, but I don't know how to upload it. Can someone tell me how to do that part? If not, I'll have to ask you to PM me your personal email address and then I can email it to you instead.

Few little reminders please - I only want to switch out names so I can pop these out pretty quickly. Cool?

This will take me a few days, but I'll get them started.... Yay!!!

Do you know if the characters dress up on the optional "dress up" night on the Dream like they do on formal nights on the Magic? Just wondering for kids picture options. Thanks!!! We are sailing very soon!!!!!!!

I had the t-shirts made through uberprints.com...they were digitally printed on the tshirt. The only problem with them is that they will not print anything that has a Disney image. I was able to get away with the mickey head and tiara by arguing the point that there was no "image". It was really cheap - $14.99 for the shirt. I think it looks a lot better than the iron-on transfer. It can be done if we have a design without an image.
I have scoured the internet looking for tshirt printing companies but none will do anything that is copyright protected. There was another company I used prontoprintshop.com...but they are closed for a break and restructuring.

Your cruise docs should show up about 2 - 3 weeks prior to the cruise. If you did online check in, you should go back in and print out the contract signature sheet and the credit card authorization form. When I did it a few weeks ago, it was only two pages total. If you don't print them out, just fill out the forms that should be in the cruise docs packet.

Did they come by mail, or UPS/FedEx? When we cruised last month ours came in the mail, but on past cruises they have sent them by either UPS or FedEx.

They arrived through USPS regular mail. My eyes about popped out of my head when I saw them!


I just love, love, love getting the luggage tags!

We got ours yesterday for 4/14 sailing, but we still did not get Them for 4/17 sailing yet. I love the changes they made - it looks so cool

If any of the first time cruisers are interested, I was looking through our stuff and found our DCL lanyards from our first cruise. Since we're getting Castaway Club lanyards at check in for this cruise, the others are free to anyone who wants them. There are 3 of them, all in good condition. Let me know

That's a good question. Since we have an "optional dress up" night and not a "formal" night, I'm not sure. You might want to ask recent Dream cruisers by posting this question on the main board.

Deb T. thought of an interesting idea for anybody who may already have their first day outfit already picked out and/or a picky DH If anyone wanted to make them into pins instead of ironing it onto a shirt, that would also work. I'm thinking of doing that for my kids so they can wear them during our "meet" because I know full well they will not wear it on a shirt if there is even a hint of us all wearing the same thing!

That is so funny you mentioned not making a shirt. I was telling DH at dinner and he said to me - why make a shirt...make a hat, make a pin, etc... He just doesn't get it!
