Apparently, I cannot post on the Yacht & Beach Club forum. What happened?

Hey.

Ok, moderators, I have a little problem. Lately, every time I try to add something to the Yacht & Beach Club Question & Answer thread, it doesn't take. All i'm left with is a "cannot find server" error page. Help!

I'm going to do an all-new Yacht & Beach Club thread soon, first week of April at the earliest.

Joe, many of the longer threads are not accepting new posts right now. I believe the Tech Team are working on getting those resolved.

So, when is your trip to WDW? You are doing Portofino and the GF, right?

I'm leaving next Saturday, March 23...2 nights at Portofino Bay, 3 nights in the LAST room the GF had available, then the 3 night Disney Wonder cruise.

We're staying Garden View at GF, I requested Conch Key, upper floor, closest possible room to Narcoossee's...SOME of those rooms have views angled toward the water. Plus, it would be cool to get a dormer room...with the vaulted ceiling and balcony. It'll just be my Mom and I...we got one of the best Bay View rooms Portofino has, right smack in the middle of the place. I don't know how, heh. Anyway, hope to possibly see some DIS'ers down there!

JC, just make sure your room number at the GF ends in 16-24 even. The dormer rooms would be 7416-7424. Another good choice is Boca Chica, rooms 8439-8444.

Just curious - in some of the long, ongoing threads like the Y/B Club Q&A, many of the posts are "bumps". Would it help any to delete those posts after a few days? Once the bump has done it's job, it doesn't serve much purpose that I can think of, and it seems like deleting them might be good housekeeping.

Hey Joe!!!

I had the same problem with the Swan and Dolphin FAQ. I had to start a new one and copy and paste. Then I placed a link to the old on for anyone who wants to see the questions on that thread. I was told that they are to big to bounce anymore. Hope this helps...
