App vs. Computer Discrepancy

Hi there,

We have a trip in June with a split stay. June 12 one night DVC, then June 13-18 on cash.

Today is 60 days from first ressie. On the app, I can book June 12 and June 13. However, on June 13, I can't complete the booking (Please try again. We're having trouble loading the screen.)

On computer, I can only book June 12. I have tried 4 different computers, 6 different browsers.

I'm super nervous that at 6 am tomorrow, I'm only going to see June 13 and my hopes and dreams for dining will be dashed. Any thoughts?

Hi - we're going 6/11 - 6/18 staying at YC (so ADR yesterday - barely got anything I wanted so be fast). I will say the system is as twitchy as I've ever seen. We tried PCs (two of us) and the app. My hubs could not get the full week to come-up, but I could. After I got as much as I could and went back to see what I could adjust for, I noticed that if I went into the dining reservation from any place other than my plans, make more plans, on MDE, I only got 60 days, not the whole stay. That is still happening today. If I go in from within my plans via make more plans, it all shows up. So maybe double check that. The other issue is sometimes it let me make overlapping reservations (trying to adjust times) without making me cancel anything - I had 3 at Yak and Yetti spaced a half hour apart for the same day BUT there was one reservation I was trying to make (that I really wanted), it asked me to confirm canceling a replacement, I did, but it did not cancel it - it keep it and I lost the other one. I've never experienced the system acting so wonky so good luck. Also, it looks like they just opened Epcot today till 9:00 pm, AK was open to the extended hours, but MK is still only dinner to 6PM and same with HS. So if you don't get what you want at those two parks - more will drop when they open it up to the new extended hours. Good luck!

In general, is it better of use app or laptop?

It's really personal preference. My own opinion is at pc is faster for trying to get everything you want for a trip (if you're on-site and doing up to ten days at once). The app is obviously more convenient when you are actually at the parks checking, or if you do dining alerts and need to quickly go in and snag just one, or for periodically checking. I like going right to the restaurant on the pc and checking availability rather than scrolling down the list to find it for that day in the app when you know a bunch of people are trying to perhaps get what you are looking for, every second counts.

Thanks for the feedback. I went through the add more plans on the MDE link and still only get the 60 day mark. I guess we will just hope and pray tomorrow morning!
