Can someone post the link to the ticket matrix? I spoke with DVC MS yesterday and the CM told me that the AP renewal for DVC members is over $370. This doesn't sound right to me. :confused3

I need to decide if we'll be renewing our APs this May for our December trip or if I should just buy new APs in December.

Thanks for your help!

Walt Disney World® Resort Ticket Product
Discount Off
Retail Price

Ages 10 +/ Ages 3 - 9

Annual Pass $100.00 / $85.00
Florida Resident Annual Pass $20.00 / $17.00
Annual Pass Renewal $75.00 / $64.00
Premium Annual Pass $125.00 / $106.00
Florida Resident Premium Annual Pass $25.00 / $21.00
Premium Annual Pass Renewal $95.00 / $80.00

The renewal will be $298.21 with tax and the new AP will be $314.18 with tax included. This includes the DVC discount.

If you won't be going between May and Dec, the new AP is probably a better deal especially if you will be able to use it again before Dec 06. (The renewal will expire May 06 regardless when you first use it.)

I'm a little confused. Sorry.

So we get $100 off full price and then we get $75 (renewal) off what? The full price or the full price minus $100 and then $75? I just don't get it for some reason??

I can't imagine that you would want to renew APs in May if you are not going until December. As Doc points out, if you renew it in May 05 it will still expire in May 06; why not just buy new in December and save the money for 7 months? Also, it looks to me like the additional discount on the renewal ($16 whole dollars) is pretty minimal, so best not to renew in May and just buy new in December.

That's what I did. Mine expired last May and my next trip wasn't until December. I bought a new one in December so it will still be good for our late November trip this year.

I think that's what we'll do. Also, there is a chance that October '06 we'll hit the parks either pre- or post-cruise. This way we'll be able to use the APs at that time if we just purchase new ones this coming December rather than renew our current ones. I can't believe I have to wait until December to step foot in Disney again!!! It is going to be tough!!!
