Mine really is a long shot anyway mky...one night on a 1br at AKV. I don't think they even included them last year. I have a DVC discount right now so I'm not as hot after the ap rate like in previous years.

I am watching for Tomar though too...she has several nights on cash she wants an ap rate for

During the late summer AP rates last year there were some 1 and 2br DVC units and some AkV units "poped up" closer in, so there is hope.

I hope for everyone's sake that there ARE weekend rates this time around. I know not that long ago when AP rates were released, they did NOT include weekends.

We have APs and hadn't booked a package for years. I now have the 4/3 package and need to make the final payment tomorrow. If APs come out after I pay, what is the penalty for changing to AP rate? And if I add the QSDP (like I have now) the reservation will become a package, so will it be subject to the change fee???

I am pretty sure that the penalty varies, based on how far away your trip is. I want to say it is $50 from days 44 to 30 but I may be wrong...

I guess I'll just have to wait and see. We're staying 9 nights so with the 4/3 package I'm paying for 2 nights at rack rate, plus the 3 one-day passes. I'll just have to do the math if APs comeout. Thanks for your help!!!

could someone please PM me with what this AP is? We just found out we are going to Orlando June 7-14 - for DH conference, so I'm checking to see if it is worth it to stay at a Disney hotel (even value) rather than where the conference is. We may only do a park one day. Thanks.
