AP Room-Only Release Date for Stays After June 6

:rolleyes1 Just waiting with the rest of you. So now Wednesday is the day? Hope so!

Yes. And then after that it's Friday, and then Monday.... ;)

I'm still thinking it's not going to be for a couple more weeks. My money is on early May.

ok, I'm going to jump in on this too and enjoy the wait! Going July 30-Aug 4 and would like to stay deluxe.

Just a heads up, the site is down for maintinance, which sometimes indicates they are loading a new "offer"

We leave for WDW on Saturday and return on Tuesday. I won't have computer access so I am pretty sure the rates will come out during that time.

Well my TA switched hotels for me on the 4/3 deal, so even if an AP rate comes out that is the same as the May deal, it is only a $15 savings over the 4/3 (including the 1 day tickets)

My package is due Saturday so I have a safety net if they aren't released on time...

I'm waiting, too. We're heading down the end of July. We are DVC members and need a good rate for Friday and Saturday. How much of a discount is usually available for the AP rate?

Hi, Same Here!! :surfweb: We are looking for July 17 and 18th at an AP rate. I am hoping the AP rate will be better than the DVC discount given thru Member Services. Joan

We're DVC members too (new ones) and I didn't realize you could get a DVC discount on rooms. We are going 4 times this year! Twice on DVC points, once on free dining and once for a short 4 day trip in August to pick up our daughter from FL. The short 4 day trip in August is the one I need a discounted room for. We are AP holders and DVC members. What is the best way to book to get the cheapest rate possible?

The AP rate would be better than the DVC discount. The DVC discount is usually about 20% off and the AP discount off a deluxe resort could be 40% off.

I am a DVC and AP holder and I am waiting for the AP rates too! I really want to stay at the Poly for our June trip!!(we have AKL Kidani booked on points)

Hi, DVC Members can get discounted rooms at DVC resorts. I believe it is 25%,and AP rates are usually better. But AP rates are not always available on the room type or DVC resort that you may want. When you book a DVC discounted room you DO NOT pay anything upfront, it is paid at check-in. And there is a cancelation policy of so many days to cancel (but I cannot quite remember it at this time:sad2:) So for your short trip you may be able to book a DVC resort at a discount through Member Services and then cancel if you find a better deal with an AP rate at a DVC resort or any other resort. :) Joan

Sooooooooo......... are we all holding our breaths again tomorrow morning?? :woohoo: This is wearing me out! :rotfl2:

Let me know what type of discount you receive for the Poly! We're looking at either staying at the Poly or the BC next year, but want to see what the AP rates will be for this year to give me an idea of possible discounts for June/July 2010.
