AP rates--Anyone else bummed out?

I'm absolutely thrilled with the AP discount. I got 30% off our November trip during Jersey week. This was a last minute kids and I trip and we were trying to keep it in budget. I had my disney agent arrange it for my existing reservation, so it was no waiting on phones for me!

No such luck for me still no availability the last two nights of our stay 12/2-12/4 ((( I guess I'll keep trying.

Booked POR from Oct 5-10. 5 nights for $707. I had the room booked at full room rates of $1010. I was hoping to get POFQ but there was nothing avaible.

I just tried to book AP room for arrival Dec 9th, no availability at GF or Contemporary : ( Trying to decide between WL and Poly now, still happy for a discount though!!

I got thru after > 30 mins.

Got the AP rate applied to 2 weeks of BCV(1-br), saved about 3,200.
The nice CM told me there are only 30 to 40 ap discount booking quota for BCV.
That means if I waited, even if the resort is available, I can't get it even if there are avail at rack.
Granted, every resort has different no. of quotas.

Now, I have 3200 more to spend. haha!

Ah this is freaking me out! We are arriving Dec 9th!

Does Disney release a new batch of rooms when the GP discount comes out or is the GP left with the rooms APers haven't booked??

After 30 minutes of "all circuits are busy" then waiting on hold for one hour I finally got through at 11am today only to be told that all rooms at the CR for the AP discounts were gone. How many did they have?
I booked this back in Feb. and couldn't get a discount.
Not worth the effort or aggravation.
From now on it's off site at a "real" deluxe hotel for a much less price.

I asked the same thing about future rooms avail for GF and the CM said that it just being soooo popular around Christmas Season that they may not have any discounts for those rooms at all but we are now doing a spilt stay at WL with a bunk bed room and then at Boardwalk for waaayyyy cheaper than I originally planned so we are estatic!!!! and WL is really pretty at Christmas too from what Ive heard so we'll just have to make an ADR at GF this time and check out the decor

I'm not bummed about the discounts -- I'm happy with the 30 and 40% discounts offered. But the availability seems more limited this time around, though for us it's most likely because of it being Columbus Day weekend. I'm very glad it's not blacked out, tho!

After much waiting, we got BC water view at 40% off AP rate for Nov 1-6 (might shave a day off) Can't wait to enjoy F&W!

I was looking for Nov 8-16 and there wasn't much at rack rate back in June when I starting pricing it. I even tried for a bounce back when I was there June 1-6 and not much available.

A Disney Wedding is still going to be AMAZING!!

I don't have an AP, but might get one if it enabled me to get the 40% discount - can anyone w/ AP WDW site access check availability for 12/9 - 12/19 @ YC-GV or YC-WV or even beach club same views for me - I suppose I could call, but hate to take time away from people trying to get through who know they want the discounts that dropped today.

Very disappointed. I have been booked with a bb since May. I thought it would be easy to drop the one day ticket and switch to ap. Wrong nothing available at bwi unless I add another night and then everything is available. Well I can't add another night. Stuck with BWV studio room and not happy about it. I should be happy to get a discount, but I'm not. If ap discounts were released 2 weeks ago then ok, but the first day and nothing. I have never had this problem with availablilty before. I think disney is really limiting their discounted rooms.

Keep trying - The first time I called this morning there was no availability at the Poly for the AP rate. The CM noticed I had a pin code attached to my name (I didn't know this) and tried to book with that code. Again, no availability. I called back 2 hours later and there was availability at the Poly. I am booked for 8 nights concierge level, 2 of them in the honeymoon suiteI am so excited!!
