We are thinking about buying annual passes and using the monthly payment plan.

First, is the AP for one calendar year for i year from date of purchase?
Second, with the monthly payment plan, is the pass valid from the day you start your payments or from the final payment date?

Any help is appreciated.

if you purchase the AP online then it is valid from the first day you take your voucher and exchange it for the AP...if you purchase it at the ticket booth then of course it is valid that day....just wanted to make sure you were aware of something...although you put your $87 down up front, (rather whatever price they decide to have it at the time you are ready to purchase it) they will take first monthly payment within a few days of your purchase (depending on what day they take it out every month) even if you decide to give them your first payment up front...they will just apply it towards the total purchase...i had no idea they were going to do that (again with the cms not telling you what you need to know up front) so that way you are finished paying it off before the pass expires vs. after....

Your pass is good from the day of activation, not the day of purchase. And yes, Lynn is right, when I did the monthly payment plan they took my down payment (for 2 passes) and my first monthly payment at the same time. I didn't realize they were going to do that, it was lucky I had the cash on the hand at the time!

So to be clear: if I started paying on Fl resident AP monthly plan tomorrow and do not use it until Jan, I would not have to worry about a renewal until Jan 2014. Also, can you pay the renewal in monthly installments? Thanks for the info.

Just want to clarify, we are talking DisneyLAND and monthly payments for Californians. If you are a Fl resident, you cannot make monthly payments for a Disneyland AP.
