Is it free parking per family, or can my wife drive one car, I drive another and we both park for free. We have a party of ten staying offsite....No way to fit in one car.

Thanks

They only need one AP to verify with each car. So you can show yours in your car and she can show hers in her car :thumbsup2

When DH and I lived in FL, we both had Annual Passes. If we had driven two cars to the parks for whatever reason, we'd have gotten free parking because we would each have been carrying our AP.
As long as someone in the car has theirs along and can show it to the guy in the booth, you get to park free.
At least that's the way I always understood it.
Good luck with your group of 10 !!
:thumbsup2

One note - just remember to have a valid photo ID out and available. It is "required" for parking but we just have it out and hand it over and never a problem. In fact, just last weekend, I was thanked for having that available without question. Also note that the ID was never checked but I like that with "have a great day" over "can I see a photo ID?" and then having then having to scramble. Be a Boy Scout and be prepared.

As long as one member in each car has a valid AP card and a photo ID it's free to park. Some CM's just see you have the card and wave you in without checking, some check to make sure the name on the license is the name on the AP Discount Card, just depends on who you get and what time of day it is.

I always hold them together with the back of my AP Discount card showing my name along with the front of my license.

One car parks free per AP so, if you have 2 APs, you can park 2 cars. Just make sure one of you is in each car.

Another hint with AP parking - have the card backwards so the attendant can see the expiration date. Most times, you will get a wave through with nothing else needed.

There is no expiration date on the back of my AP card... ?

Yesterday at MK the person at the toll booth actually read the card with an RFID reader and let us through. I guess that's new.

Are you looking at your yellowish AP card that was sent after you got the MagicBands? That's what I was referring to. That card is used to apply AP discounts and also for the free parking. At this point, you might have a different set of passes if you don't have a MagicBand. Once we got the Band, the cards were included with the bands.

The back of your yellow card will have your name and the exp. date

It depends on when you got it. The AP card I got back in November did not have my name or expiration date printed on it, I just signed my name on it. The one I got with my AP magic band a couple of months ago did have my name and expiration date printed on it.
