AP Discount on MNSSHP?

Hi All, we have an AP for the first time this year. I know that they give discounts on the parties sometimes. Could anyone tell me when they release these discounts? Are they as soon as the tickets are on sale or do they wait to see what sells out and what has a lot left? I'm not sure whether to snatch tickets for our early October trip when they come out or to just wait.

When Disney releases tickets the discounted prices for certain dates will be available. In my experience Disney discounts parties on days they don't expect to sell out.

We will also be attending a party the first week in October. We are thinking the 2nd or the 5th, can't decide

Thanks for the info! We are in the same boat on dates. We love the party and would go all 3 if it wasn't so pricey so I guess we will choose just 1!

That's us, when the kids were smaller and we had AP's we went to 2 parties but now with our kids college, work we just can't justify an AP and DD is bringing friends so there will be 6 of us, way to expensive.

So which one are you thinking about going to??

We are leaning more toward the 2nd because DS is running in the TOT 10 miler on the 4th so I am afraid he will be worn out on the 5th. The 10 miler includes a Villians Dance party at HS until the wee hours of the morning. A lot of that is going to depend on the discounts we can get. We will be there the whole next week and could even do one of those parties as well but I like the fun of doing one right away!
