AP Details are Here! Some only for DVC & FL.

Too much $$$ for us. I think we would have to spend 12 park hopper days to justify the cost! We’re not planning on that kind of park touring anymore. I also remember the days when it cost less than $500 with no black outs. Ouch

Anybody know if they announced raised regular ticket prices for next year? I'm sure they will, just wonder how bad.
Now that date-based tickets exist, I don't think Disney will announce any across the board price increases. They can simply quietly increase the price for this date or that date, and no one would know unless they were checking those particular dates frequently. If tickets are already on sale for your dates, you can price them now.

I just renewed my Gold APs in March with the 1st time use of them in July. I will get 3 trips out of them before I have to buy the new DVC pass. The new pass will cost me $400+ tax more than the current Gold pass absent a DVC discount. Will one be able to renew the Gold pass for the new DVC pass with a discount?

Also, why can't DVC members purchase the cheaper passes if it works for them?

With the removal of FP+, the stupid park reservation system, and now the increased ticket prices, the end of the road may be in sight for many WDW visitors.

The website states that you can renew at the new renewal rate for the Sorcerer pass. It’s $764 plus tax right now but will no longer have Gold.

one can hope, lower crowds, and I like reservations, I don't go on days that are getting full.

Yes but no additional discount for DVC. Gold pass gave DVC owners an extra discount.

The gold pass was a unique pass for FL and DVC. No one else could get it. That is what the Sorcerer pass is. Now, it’s more expensive than gold was, but it’s the same idea. So, it wasn’t really discounted as much as it was a pass with a favorable price…just like now.

Those of us with blue cards can buy a pass for $899. Those that don’t can’t.

The discount we got was really off the other passes as those were availBe to everyone, but we paid less.

Just had a thought that maybe DPEP is going to do more specials that offer discounts on the Incredi-pass vs it being offered to FL and DVC all the time.

I could see this happening as time goes on, just as they have done with a few of the ticket deals

NO idea, but hey, give it a try. LOL. I think you need a FL DL however.

Actually they now say you can present other ways to document it and get the discounts, if you don’t use the license.

Would absolutely love this, and it would be the ultimate fulfillment of DIS's marketing message of 'welcome home'. Aren't we all therefore de facto 'Florida residents'??
No… last I knew DVC expressly said DVC membership did not constitute Florida residency.
That said, things could have changed over the years.
