AP, DDP and TIW questions...

a few random questions...

I received my AP vouchers and was able to log in to the passholder website. Currently they show resort room discounts through Oct 2nd. DH and I are hoping to take an "extra" trip in the Spring with the AP discount. For the dates we are considering going, flights are really cheap but obviously we don't know if we'll get the room for those same dates. Should we buy the airline tickets and hope for the best or is room availability really slim to none chances?

In general, how far in advance are the room discounts made available for AP holders?

We are going in Nov with my in-laws who are big fans of the DDP, if we buy the TIW card, can we use it for drinks and extras at the restaurants and still use the DDP for our meals?

I know that you can use the TIW card to cover things that are not part of your DDP.

I think that AP rates are released a few months in advance. I know that right now, there are none yet released for the November/December time frame but many have speculated that they should be out by the end of the month.

For the Spring, I would think you would know around January to February what the discount will be.
