Please help me as I am more confused now than before.

We arrive on Sept. 27th thru Oct 2nd. We have a previous 3 day pass to apply to our AP.

Do we need to purchase a full price ticket for each of us? Can that also be applied to our AP or saved to renew next year?

Once we get the full price ticket, then go and buy our AP's can we still have our free dining the entire stay?

Thanks for all the help, I have to get this done in the next week.

First, free dining is only until September 30th. So, you could use it for part of your vacation. Second, you must pay regular price for your hotel room & you must buy at least a one day pass for each member of your party.

The way it was explained to us by the Cast Member, we can then apply the one day pass toward the purchase on an Annual Pass (not the renewal of an Annual Pass). I don't believe that you would be able to apply both the 3 day passes that you have plus the one day pass that you must purchase for this trip. But, I see no reason why the one day passes cannot be saved for the next time that you need to purchase passes.

Anybody out there, correct me if I am incorrect.

My understanding is that for free dining your trip must start on or before Sept 30, but will be for the entire length of your trip, even if your trip extends past Sept 30 into October.

You must pay full rack ratefor the room for the entire stay, and you must purchase at least a one day park ticket for everyone on the party. I don't think it matters if you apply the one day pass to a new AP or a renewal. I have heard that you can only apply one ticket per AP, so save your one day tickets for your next renewal.

Chuck is correct.

Be sure and book it quickly; many resorts are already sold out of free dining rooms (only a certain amount are blocked off for this promotion) and you must book by June 4th.

Good luck!

I just love the internet. All my disboards friends help me planned my vacation in just a few hours and answered all my questions, well almost.

We have booked our holiday which is also during my birthday. We are at the POFQ from 9/27-10/2 with free dining. I purchased one ticket for each of us at full price. I will use the 3 day from our previous trip to get our seasonal pass, then use the 1 day to renew our passes next year if we can.

The only question left is when does the dining credits load up? Upon check in or upon park entrance? We arrive at 4 pm and will want a dinner.

I am going back to Disney!

Credits are good from the time you check in until midnight of the day you checkout.

During our last trip I checked out of the resort at 7:00am but didn't leave for the airport until about 3:00.(we wanted to take advantage of MGM's EMH)

We were able to use our remain credits at MGM and in the foodcourt.

Disneyjunkie you are the best! Thanks for all the help, I think we can do this and will have fun. Now the 4 month wait to go, but with the ranch, housecleaning, and a pt job, on top of that my wonderful son who is autistic, time is going to fly by.

See you there and Disneyjunkie, again, you are so kind and good, thank you for all your help and to all others who helped me understand the plan. Big Hugs! :grouphug:

It is going to work out perfect a nice dinner the nite we arrive, food each day, then on the day we leave we don't need to worry as our flight leaves at 5 pm so we won't need the dinner. We can all share with our DS who has sensory and autism issues and never eats.

I like this plan. :Pinkbounc

My son wants me to insert the Rarwrrr! :furious:

Enjoy your trip.

I think the planning is almost as much fun as the actual trip. However, my 14 year old son gets sick of the planning talk after awhile. :rotfl2:
