AP Activation Issue

I was lucky enough to get through and buy an AP for my husband this morning. When we went to activate the pass at Guest Relations today, they would not activate the pass because DH is not on the deed? It is my understanding that the deeded member can purchase passes for anyone in their immediate family that live in the same household (up to 8). Was this cast member misinformed or have I made an error? Thanks for any help you can give!

The CM is incorrect. Info is in the Membership Extras document online.

My husband is also not on our deed. Neither is 1 of my adult children (that lives with me). They should be able to activate with proper ID.

Definitely not accurate. Those in one’s household are eligible for the pass…you do need your membership card and ID, plus he needs to be there with you, with ID that shows same address…if doesn’t have the ID with the address, they will accept a recent bill showing it.

how did you make out? I also have a adult daughter who lives with me and I was wondering if she was eligable for a AP.

Yes, as long as she has ID that shows the same address as you. Optimal is for her to activate the AP while you're present to prove the DVC Y status.

Everything worked out perfectly once we visited the Guest Relations booth at Disney Springs. We had an extremely helpful cast member (Sara) that was able to quickly activate the AP for us! I showed my DVC card and then my husband showed his proof of ID. We were in and out so quickly and went right to EPCOT!
