I know the resort is not finished. Will it share a bus with POP? Also, I was wondering will this be the furthest bus stop from the park enterance, since it's new? Or will it be put into one of those mysteriously unassinged queues? Let me know what you think.

My guess is they will share a bus, might as well have one bus instead of two to go to basically the same place. It only takes another 5 minutes to drop people off then continue next door and drop more people off.

Recently a WDW exec talked about AoA and they will be their own independent resort with their own buses. Due to the size of Pop, with its buses alreayd full, they will not share.:surfweb:

Thanks for the great info!:)

Was it also anounced whether Art of Animation and Pop Century will be Sister Resorts with access between them via Generation Gap Bridge(with a new name) or if they will be COMPLETELY separate Resorts with Generation Gap bridge demolished?

Thanks.:)

I wonder if the bus stops at the resort will be covered. I know they aren't at the other value resorts but, perhaps, they will be at AoA.

Honestly just because it's going to be a Value Resort and a brand new one won't have anything to do with that decision. At Hollywood Studios the Contemporary/Polynesian/Grand Floridian bus section is one of the farthest from the main entrance and all of those are Deluxe Resorts.

Hmm good thought, I wonder what they will do.... I think I saw artwork somewhere here on the DIS that appeared that they will keep the bridge.... IDK why they wouldnt - It is already completed, just need to remove the end barrier.... would be a waste otherwise!!

There has been no official word that they will be sister resorts or that they will or won't share buses.

But as said above, they will most likely have their own buses, as POP has theirs due to the size of the resort. AOA will be as big, so I can't imagine they will share.

I think people automatically think they will be sister hotels and share because they are close in proximity but truth is, WDW decided to use the property and what was already there as a cost saving venture...not to link them.

If they are to be linked they will have to tie it in better than "it's across the lake".
