anywork yet on a VISA code for today?

Well, I called to make the ressie and of course my Disney Visa is maxed....they were supposed to refund my vacation balance from Sept/Oct but it's not on there yet and so I quickly made a payment but it won't post for 2 biz days. Looks like I might miss out.....all because of Chase and their tiny limit LOL and the fact that I didn't think before hand to pay this 2 days ago.

:scared1: Call them! Maybe they can expedite it or give you a temp increase or something!

Good luck everyone! Now that I have been preoccupied with this for 2 hours, I need to get my kiddos up! :goodvibes

I was told I needed a code as well, to check Disneyworld.com that they as agents do NOT have any information on any special offers.

I'm a little confused, I thought that usually the AP discount was opened up to VISA holders a few days later. Why is the deal different? Does this mean the general public deal will also be free dining? Or the same as the AP holders received? Anyone have any idea?
FD is actually a disappointment. We are staying at a deluxe, so the room discount is a way better deal and we already have a FD pin (so I guess that was kind of for nothing now too ...) :headache:

WOO HOO! Just got off the phone and it is indeed free dining. (Values are quick service, moderates are 1ts/1cs) I ended up upgrading from a value to a moderate to get the regular dining, but still saved $300 from what I would have paid if we stayed in the value and paid for the regular dining plan.

I do not have a code, but if you ask for the current Disney Visa offer, they will give it to you!!

Edited to add-Guess I should have asked if I could pay the difference to upgrade QS dining to regular at Pop where we were staying...but I'll just stop wondering and be excited to be staying at the CBR. :)

I swear, I'm cursed :lmao::lmao::lmao:

The first time I tried calling, I was told that they, as agents, do not have access to any of the information on special offers & to check Disneyworld.com
The second time I was told to check my latest invoice, as there would be details enclosed about any "offers" they have going.
I'm worried I won't get this offer, since I already missed out on the AP discount. Would've been nice to have something :confused3
Someone's gotta ask for the code! LOL!

I found this on another site.

I got free dining!!!!!!!!!!!!! Courtyard view at FWL - didn't even have to change to another type of room.

I feel like today is Christmas!!! :banana:

Thank you dis boards!!!!

WOW my travel agent is on top of things and up early today! She rocks! She already switched my ressie for me to have the free dining! I'm still bummed though. Free dining only saves - what - $90 per day for 2adults/1kid? Right? I'd rather have had that discount that AP holders got! I tihnk that'd have saved me another $40 or so per night. Oh well. It's better than NOTHING, that's for certain! I'm just so impressed with my travel agent! (THANKS TRACY!!!)
Oh PS she said I didn't have to do a new deposit. :confused3 My original deposit was before I had a Disney Visa so I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe I just need to pay the final part on the Disney visa???

I can't explain any of the whys, but someone on another thread just told me the CM she spoke with said the FD deal would open to the GP in a few days.

ETA: Also, have you looked into buying 1 AP? Maybe the discount would still be better?

I'm sorry that you didn't get the discount you were hoping for, but it's not really for nothing- the PIN enabled you to book early, and at least you got SOME discount.

Have you looked into AAA? Maybe that would save a bit more?

I am on the phone now booking FD for Disney visa. She said it was release today at 7am!!! Call now! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

This is what I was just told.

I just called to change a reservation I had for September (which I was planning to cancel anyway) and made a Free Dining reservation at Coronado Springs for December 1st for three nights using my Disney Visa Card. No code required. I just asked her to change my existing reservation to the new Disney Visa Free Dining offer and she did. Very nice CM. I'm happy. :cool1:

I just got the Visa free dining deal, too. Twelve nights at POP, one day base tickets, and quick service dining plan for $1585. Cheaper than the AP discount, plus I get the one day ticket which I will use toward the future purchase of an AP. SO EXCITED! Call me crazy, but I love having the QSDP. We just don't like to spend a lot of time at sit down meals, and having to keep a schedule for ADRs, so this works out perfectly for us. Can't wait!!!!

I did, he said that it won't post till Monday or Tuesday!!!:scared1:

I cancelled the payment...heck by then the public code will be out and I'll just book it with my regular debit/visa.....this stinks though, I pray they still have a couple of rooms available.

Can I book it under my name, pay for it all, and then transfer the names to someone elses? Is that possible? I'd like to get this deal for friends...but they don't have the Visa :-(

SO EXCITED!!! :yay::woohoo::banana::cheer2:
We just booked ASMovies 7 nights (standard room), 7 day base, free dining (upgraded to regular dining plan) for $1,871.13 for 12/12-19

This is our first December visit to Disney!!! :santa:
