We upgraded to POR and have free dining from 12-4/12-12!!!

I have never taken advantage of a special offer before and I am sooo excited. This will be our first trip to enjoy a moderate resort. Yea!!

I just got the Visa free dining deal, too. Twelve nights at POP, one day base tickets, and quick service dining plan for $1585. Cheaper than the AP discount, plus I get the one day ticket which I will use toward the future purchase of an AP. SO EXCITED! Call me crazy, but I love having the QSDP. We just don't like to spend a lot of time at sit down meals, and having to keep a schedule for ADRs, so this works out perfectly for us. Can't wait!!!!

WE did the QSDP this past June and thought it was great! Worked perfectly for my family (me, dh and 2 teens). We had some great CS meals. One thing I would caution...keep an eye on those snacks. Our last day we had 17 left and took home a lot of candy!

After convincing my CM, and a long hold period for her to verify, we received free dining (and paid for the Deluxe upgrade) for December 6th - 12th! Poly, here we come!

I called to find out if it really is the same price as my free dining pin and I was surprised that they're already sold out for my dates at all moderates. We're goign 12/17 - 12/29.

I talked to Buzz this morning. I am staying at a Value and at first he said I could only do quick service and not upgrade (I currently have Deluxe). I said, "but Buzz some people on line this morning said they got to upgrade". He said hold on, he asked a supervisor and said Yes, you can upgrade. Saved me $550 this morning and it is over the Thanksgiving holiday. I love Buzz!

Does anyone know if the free dining shows up right away on your itinerary page on the WDW site? My resort change is there, but no mention of the free dining (or any dining for that matter!). I'm a little nervous right now. Someone set me straight please!!!

My reservation online also does not show the dining on there.

I called, and he assured me it was on my reservation and that sometimes it takes a little bit for the online reservation to reflect it.

As soon as I posted this...I did receive an email confirmation...that shows the free disney dining!

i talked to a CM just now- the visa dining code would either save me $272 (free dining) or cost me $50 to get a deluxe upgrade. I opted to save the $272 instead of paying more

I just got free dining at POFQ Nov. 6 through the 10th! YAY! Not complaining at all but I'd have rather gotten the room discount and quick service dining, I hate making ADR's! But....the free dining actually saved us more, this is just a quick trip for the two of us for DH's birthday on the 7th, no kids or grandkids allowed!

So there is no blackout over thanksgiving??? We check in 11/26 as well so I was wondering if thanksgiving would be blacked out like the AP discount. Did you gt free dining your entire stay?? I am having to wait for the GP discounts to come out, and was just wondering how that would work. I had heard that if you check in on a day that has free dining you get it for your entire stay. Do you still get it for your whole stay if your checkin day is a blackout date and you stay through when it opens up agian???

How long did it take to get your email confirmation? I booked mine at about 6:35 this morning and still haven't gotten one.

YAY! I was so scared that I wouldn't get my room at Contemporary with FREE DINING but I did! I never even had to be on hold! From start to finish call was 18 minutes! Waa hoo!
