Anything wrong with this overall strategy for AP discounts?

1. Book up to 3 rooms (or ticketless room(s) + dining) with the an AP discount and pay it off with a Disney rewards Visa.

2. Buy discounted MYW tickets (e.g., at Undercover Tourist) for everyone in the group by buying the ticket that has the biggest discount, while at the same time having a non-discounted price that is less than or equal to the price of the ticket each individual ultimately plans to ultimately use.

3. Only one person will need to upgrade their ticket to an AP (the discounted ticket they buy will probably be a different ticket than that purchased for other party members). This should be the same person who booked and paid for the room(s).

4. Before going to WDW, make sure all Disney rewards Visa points have been transfered to a Disney Rewards Redemption Card.

5. After arrival at WDW, price bridge everyone's tickets by first having them go through a turnstyle and then go to Guest Relations and change/upgrade their tickets to the type they plan to ultimately use (with only one person needing to upgrade to an AP). Use Disney rewards points to help pay for the change/upgrade costs.

6. The AP holder can then show a validated AP at their resort.

7. If more than 1 room has been booked using the AP discount, the guests in the non-AP holders room(s) can check in at a different time as the AP holder and the AP holder does not have to be present when they check in (provided the AP holder has previously shown a valid AP).
