i have not been to WDW in almost 2 years now and was wondering what you think is the best new thing in the parks

The best? How about a few? Wishes, Mission: Space, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Figment's return at Imagination, FOTLK now air/conditioned, Mickey's Jammin' Jungle parade in AK, Share a Dream Come True parade in MK, Stars and Motor Cars parade in MGM, Pal Mickey for some.

Biggest loss, IMO, Tapestry parade in Epcot.

Tower of Terror is now much better than a few years ago with the new drop profile. Definetly worth trying out

Definitely don't miss Mickey's Philharmagic! If you've got children with you (or those of us who think like children at WDW), also Triceratop Spin in MK or Alladin's Magic Carpets in MK.
