Anyone watching Michael Jackson's memorial?

Id rather be watching an infomercial about carpet stain remover than the coverage of this guy. Why are we glorifying this person. If you or I did what he did, we would be posting on Disboards from a prison cell. Money talks huh. Sure he was aquitted, but if he was innocent, what was the 25 Million to the family of the kid for??? But hey, OJ was aquitted also, and we all know he didnt do it!!!!. Yes, he could sing and dance.....but that pales in comparison to the horrible things that he ADMITTED he did. He had serious personal issues that were never treated properly. Its a total shame the way the media is presenting this. Just my 2 cents!!!

He was an enormous talent. He broke barriers for African Americans. He had a sad life. We are never going to know the truth of what happened. Where as I think OJ was guilty. I don't feel the same way about Michael. I know as a survior of abuse and as a parent, I would NEVER EVER in a MILLION years take any amount of money from a person that abused my child. I would go after them with my last dying breath.

And just what horrible things did he admit to doing?? If you are referring to sleeping with children..while I feel he was stupid and it was in appropriate, it wasn't horrible.

I have to say that I am impressed with this Memorial. I was afraid it would be more of a "concert" and not nearly somber and tasteful as it has been so far.

And this Congresswoman just left out Blanket!

She sais her name was Shirley Jackson Lee or something. I guess when you have Jackson in your name you get to be there?

I am I slept through the first part of it(needed the sleep) I woke up and thought this is a lot nicer and more touching then I thought it would be. Then Sheila Jackson Lee took the statge. Are you flipping kidding me?? How she got a spot up there I will never know, it is bigger then the mystery of how she wins reelection. Shame Shame. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
