Anyone want to help me come up with a theme night?

My sister used to go with her husband's extended family to the Jersey shore every year. Instead of going out to eat every night, they have themed food nights each night that are hosted by each of my BIL's siblings and their families. His parents always hosted surf and turf night. Not only do they do this, they score everyone's efforts and the winner gets bragging rights and the trophy for the year. Criteria for scoring are food, decor, happy hour/appetizers, dessert and after dinner activities, costuming, etc. She said her favorite night was Jersey Shore night. The men wore wife beaters and the women teased up their hair to be "big". The menu was focused around Italian food.

She said the people walking buy the house they stayed in would always look twice at what was going on in the front yard and porch and that they'd smile.

We do theme nights. The last one was country western night. We had barbecue food. We decorated hobby horses and then we raced them in a game.
