I wanna make a playlist of Disney music....but not *Disney* music, but rather that music you hear at:

Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon
POP Century
On the bus

etc etc etc....

I havent come up with much:

Waterparks:
Kokomo - Beach Boys
Hot fun in the Summertime - Sly & Family Stone

POP:
"Chicka Cherry Cola" song - ???
Dont Speak - No Doubt

Anyone wanna help - we might make a funky fun list. :) I honestly meant to keep a littl enote pad and jot down songs as I heard them, and never did. :(

Help my memory out!!!

They play that song, "The Witchdoctor" from Alvin & The Chimpmunks. That song is burned in my memory from the last trip!

That "Cherry Cola" song is by Savage Garden. I think it is called "Truly, Madly, Deeply"

I look forward to seeing this list!

The Savage Garden song is actually called "I Want You". "Truly, Madly, Deeply" is a slower song

I did some research on Google and here are some of the songs guests identified on the Pop Century playlist:

Walk Like An Egyptian - The Bangles
You're The One That I Want - Grease Soundtrack
How Deep Is Your Love - Bee Gees
Baby Love - The Supremes
Help - The Beatles

Can anyone think of anymore??? How about the waterparks?? Feeling Hot Hot Hot is one - right?

There's a site that has a bunch of loops and partial loops, but I can't get it to come up now. It was down for awhile and I checked not too long ago and it was back up. But now I can't get to it so I'm not sure if it's permanently down or just a glitch today.

www.disneymusicloops.com is the site if it comes back up.

Rascal Flatts "Life is a Highway" from "Cars" was constantly playing on the bus last time we were there

Whenever I ride the bus to or from Pop, it's a given that at some point I'll hear "Witch Doctor" by David Seville and that blasted disco "Star Wars Theme/Cantina Band" music by Meco.

Here are three more from WL:

Wild Ride - Elmer Bernstein - from the film "Frankie Starlight"
Duel in the Sun (Main Title) - Dmitri Tiomkin - from the film "Duel in the Sun"
True North - Bele Fleck & The Flecktones

Typhoon Lagoon...

Andrews Sisters "Rum & Coca Cola"...that song always makes me giggle when I hear it.

Can't help with any others at the moment, but if I think of any I'll sing out :)

I can try to help :) I have lots of Disney music...here are some songs that I have and the areas they are from.

The Great Movie Ride Area

Oklahoma
Gone With the Wind
Mission Impossible
Sounds of Music
Sining in the Rain
James Bond theme
Harry Potter theme ( I wonder if that is gone now because of the Universal tie-in)
Air Force One theme
Shakespeare in Love

New York Street - Pizza Planet Area ( Hollywood Studios)

You've got a friend in me
Strange things
I will go sailing no more ( all Randy Newman songs)

The Honey I shrunk the kids area at Hollywood Studios

Celestial Soda Pop and The oh of Pleasure both my Ray Lynch. They are pretty cool.

That's all I can think of now. Hope it helps. :)

What about more songs that are on the Pop Buses? I think I want to make a playlist for my iPod as well!

I have the Chimpmunks, the Cars song, The Star Wars song, the Savage Garden song, what else??

That Austin Powers theme is on the bus, and Hound Dog.

Now, i found a BIGGGGGG ol' list of music - on a bunch of different places, for POP.

Ill get my act together and post it, but just a few:

Everybody - Back Street Boys
Jump -Pointer Sisters
Hold Me Now - Thompson Twins

Where did you find that list for the POP buses? I could just look it up myself if it is easier!

Oh - I didnt ever find a POP bus list. I was using the noggin' for that.

But I googled Pop Century Music Loop - or something like that.

ANother one I just thought of - did you have Frankie Valleys - Theme from Grease? They play that on the bus.

I have heard "Bailamos" by Enrique Iglesias at Pop...might have heard his sone "Hero" too but not sure on that one. Don't forget the "Twist" and is the other one they do the "Shuffle? Can't remember now! LOL

Thanks everyone for all the input! Even one song, makes the list better!

I thought of another one - Sting - Fields of Gold

The " chicks cherry cola" song is "I Want You" by Savage Garden.

BB - HOt hot hot by Arrow
Jamaican bobsledding chant by Whorl a Girl (from the film Cool Runnings)
Dwarves Yodelling Song

TL - many various Beach Boys songs
