Anyone wanna help me come up with music? Updated Post #31 - still need help!

My POP bus playlist is on its way. Thanks to everyone for helping out! It's funny how a song can take you back there. Especially that "Witch Doctor" song. It was annoying at the time, but now it puts me back on the bus!

I wanted to update with what I came up with, for in and around POP:

How deep is your Love- Bee Gees
Baby Love - Supremes
Help- Beatles
Bille Jean - Michael Jackson
Hound Dog - Elvis
Mmmm Bop - Hansen
Soul Bossa Nova - Quincy Jones
Theme from Grease- Frankie Valley
Star Wars Theme - Meco

Witchdoctor - David Seville

Now this loop is 5-6 hours long!! Can anyone think of ONE more song to add to the list??? :goodvibes :)

Star Wars Theme -
Cantina Band -

Are you refering to the disco version? If so, I gave the name of the group in post #9. It's performed by Meco.

"The Hustle" is by Van McCoy & the Soul City Symphony.

Also, while The Chipmunks did re-record "The Witch Doctor" the version heard at POP is actually the original recorded by David Seville, which he released before he invented The Chipmunks. :)

At Pop Century I remember them playing 'Magic.' The one that goes 'oh oh oh it's magic! you know... can you believe it's not so' or something like that.

Earlier this week on the All Stars Sport bus they played the Olympic Theme Song and We will Rock You by Queen. Other than that they played a lot of college fight songs.

Only a few years later.... :joker:

I found this list:

http://www.magicmusic.net/playlists/playlist/19-pop-century-resort-2010/

BUT - I think that one might be old now, cuz I know know know I've heard this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QZjJU-mtFU&feature=related (England Dan & John Ford Coley...Love is the Answer )

... in January/February, this year. It was stuck in my head for days, and I had to Google the lyrics to see what I *remembered all the lyrics to, but couldn't remember who the heck it was by* song.
