Anyone using the Intuition razor?

Is it worth it? I got one for free and after only a week the bottom part of the lotion is almost gone. Does it go through blade/lotion thingies quick?

Yes- I use them when I am in a hurry -between shavings with a regular razor and shaving cream and they do not last long.

I make sure I keep them away from the water when I am not using them to make them last a little longer

Yes that's about all they last. The only time I use one is when we camp because it's easier to shave with one in a shower house or cramped shower in our camper.

I used them a ton before and yes they last about a week. I loved them though and honestly the blades on all other razors I have used haven't ever lasted me as long as the Intuition did. So I was changing razor blades less often with Intuition. Sadly it was still too much for me to pay for and now I use super cheap ones.

Mine don't even last me a week, but I love them so I buy the blades in bulk at Sam's Club.

They do wear down easy - and the top never wears down, and your blades are still good.... sooooo, I flip it over, and rub the top sidedown my leg and come back up with the razor.

Once that's all gone, I toss 'em.

They're especially good for 'down there'. If you try and put shaving cream 'down there' it rinses all off before you get done. The intuition, you don't have to worry about that.

I LOVE them!! They are expensive, but worth it. The shower in this master bathroom and the one in the last house are small and it's impossible not to be in the spray with your legs so shaving cream washes away before you can shave.

Y'all will probably hate me for this, but I can get mine to last 3 months or more. I am so in love with this razor. And fortunately, I'm very blond and don't have a quick hair growth except on my head, so I don't need to shave often at all.

My rule of thumb is if the blade draws blood then in the trash it goes. Unless of course I was just in a hurry. But I love these intuitions. This is the first razor I've ever stuck with. I've tried other disposables, and the electric razors. But this is just the best.

I, personally, love them. In the 3 or so years I've been using them, I've knicked myself 2 times because I was rushing. They are expensive, but they are very worth it. I hate using disposables and plain old shaving cream now.

I started using one after DD had to have it, then abandoned it for my Venus, which she took upstairs and I've never seen again. To me it gets "close enough" but not as close as the Venus, but it's faster than the Venus too. Guess I need to check out Sam's for the "economy pack"

Got about 25 of the refills on clearance at walmart last year at $2 each!!!!! I am good for a while.

I completely agree with you... I use it for "down there" and I also flip it over and use the lotion part after the cream runs out...

I shave every day. And just my legs and pits. So I learned 2 things, first, turn it around and use the lotion from the top. And second, take it with me when we camp this summer. That will work out so much better!

I'm not a fan. I got several free ones and tried one out last week. Not impressed. My Venus works SO much better, imo. So I'll donate the others.

I get them ridiculously cheap because my brother in law works for Schick and I switch them out every two shavings so I am not a good gauge of how fast they go, but I do love them, so quick and convenient!! I want to try and get some of the new 4 blade ones, but I have at least 200 of the "old ones" I need to use up first. LMAO

I like the shaver well enough. It's the holder thingy with the suction cups to hang on the shower wall that I hate. The shaver is fairly heavy and the holder is just too flimsy. I hang it up and within 2 minutes it falls out.

I've stopped using it b/c it gives me bad ingrown hairs for some reason, but other than that, I love it. I wish I'd had one (if they existed in '03/'04) while pregnant, b/c it would have been so much easier and faster.
