Ive had many computers and many IEs. "IE anything" was nothing but TROUBLE!!! Those darn upgrades that caused problems, plus IE freeze-ups, lockups, shutdowns, etc etc etc. I hated all of it. When my old system slowly died I finally got me an HP Pavilion, and the FIRST thing I did was download Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird email, and I then deleted all Internet Explorer! I havent had a SINGLE problem since!!! I was ready to go back to the stone age before I finally got wise and downloaded Mozilla. MUCH faster, MUCH less hassle, and none of the quirks of IE. If there ARE any downsides to Mozilla, I havent found them yet!
I'll NEVER use IE again.
I was turned on to mozilla by the guys at the tehncal assistance lines for my DSL. Then when I took my computer in for repairs (often) they TOO used Mozilla (I always made a point to ask) then when I had my old system reformatted SHE used Mozilla. My computer building friends and all my buddies who are geeks use Mozilla. I thought... the people who know computers best are using Mozilla. maybe I should. I havent regretted it since.
