Soupermom said:Where is the best (meaning cheapest) place to buy a Kabuki Brush? It sounds like this is what I need to apply my BE products. I have the nice face brush that comes with the kit, but I don't like the way it feels/moves over my face. Also, where can I get one of those travel brushes some of you have mentioned...where you can fill the brush and take it with you? I'd love to get these two items!![]()
If you go back a page to post 202(by me), you will see a list of web pages that have different mineral makeup. I ordered a ton of samples from Monave, the first one on the list and got them a few days ago. So that is what I am wearing today for foundation, and eye shadow/liner. I like it so far... but it has only been 5 hours since I put it on.
Also, I had a few good qual. paint brushes I had not used for painting. So I started using them for my BE stuff. I needed a very thin liner brush this morning and didn't have one, so I took the thinest new natural brisle brush I had and trimed the hairs on an angle toward the tip till I only had a few(6 - 12) hairs on the point. This was great to use as I got a super thin line for my eyes, and the brush held enought water to mix with the minerals to make the liner! Love it! I did it 'cause I have done it when I needed a smaller brush to do craft stuff, like control glue, or paint a super fine line... after all I was "painting", just on my face...
I also saw that some of the sites had a fan brush. I have several of these for crafts, but not a new one. Guess I will take the next coupon for Micheals or ACMoore and go and get a fan brush... it will cost about $5 with the coupon, and they come in a ton of sizes/brush stiffiness. Maybe I will be able to find a natural brush set with several different brushes.
I have 3 brushes for the foundation now... so I use one for the foundation, one for a blusher/warmth, and one for mineral veil. Then I buff, buff, buff with the mini Kabuki brush... and clean them all at least once a week or every 3 or 4th use.
