Did you end up doing online check in ?

I think I might if arriving late.

I did not do it last trip because I was so scared if not getting a balcony and the first question out of my mouth was to ask the CM if they had been able to meet my requests. That was when she told me we had been upgraded so perhaps not doing the online check in worked to our favor?


I cannot believe how many shoes you take along on your trips

I haven't done online check in yet......Still thinking about it. I'm not sure it matters with such a late check in, so I might give it a try.


I will be taking a few more pair of shoes if I can fit them in!!

I did it!!


I just did online check in!! It was simple. The only requests I could make was: Large Balcony, Small Balcony, and/or Woods View. It said I could requests 2 out of these 3 things..... What I wanted to request was a room with the extra daybed, a full balcony, and an upper floor. That is what is noted on my ressie. So I just checked the "Large Balcony". Who the heck requests a small balcony anyway??? I didn't check the woods view. We paid a little more for a "garden view", so hopefully that means we aren't looking at the parking lot, a roof-top, or into a bunch of trees......

It will be interesting to see what we get. Hopefully it will be okay and by doing it this way it will speed things up, even if only by a few minutes because we are getting in so late and want to get to Epcot for EMH as soon as we can.

Love all of the dresses. I'm still on the fence about bringing any with me on my trip. I just can't picture myself chasing after Cole in a sundress. I'll have to have a few trial runs over the summer I guess!

Isn't online check-in a breeze? It stinks you can't really reiterate your requests, but as long as they're noted on your reservation you should be fine. I always call in my requests and when staying at Pop I've sent a fax about 3 days before we check in. Rooms get assigned 3 days before guest arrival.

Thanks! You should take a few sundresses with you. I was skeptical too. Didn't really picture myself crawling into RNRC with a dress on. But they really are great. So much cooler when it is so hot out! I loved it!

Yep, online check in was super easy. I do wish I could have put in all my requests, but at least wanting a 'large balcony' is there and the rest is noted on my ressie. I did call them in and they are on there when I pull it up. And I have always faxed 4 days out, but last year when I tried to fax to CBR it wouldn't go through. It had always worked in the past. So I'll give it a try next week.

I love all of the clothes pictures! And I am glad that you did online check-in! I hope you have as good of luck as we have had with it.

My DH carries a full size backpack around the parks, but where we are going in August, I am thinking of getting him a backpack like your DH's. We certainly won't need jackets in August!

oh my gosh!! How are you fitting all that stuff into ONE BAG???? lol Then again, maybe dresses take up less room than shorts, capris, and tops?? I WISH I could take that many shoes. I have to settle for one pair of crocs, one pair of flip flops and wear my running shoes It's so sad I know

Looks like you really have it all together!!! I get to pull out the rest of the suitcases this weekend and start organizing the mess I have in a box and one suitcase that is overflowing badly. LOL Maybe then I'll be as organized as you are

Yes, make sure they aren't too short -- you don't want to give all of WDW a show when you bend over!!

The dresses do take up way less space than shorts, shirts, and carpi's do. But of course I am taking some of those too. Actually I can fit all my clothes in my rolling duffel carry-on. I have been able to get everyone's clothes into their own carry-on and then we will have the one big checked bag for all the extras -- shoes, DS's sleeping bag, snacks, liquids that are over 4oz, etc. Hopefully it is all going to fit. So far so good.

I hope you get all organized and packed this weekend. I had to get ahead of the game this week because I have to work most of next week, so between work & soccer I just know the week is going to get away from me!

Yay for one week! Even if it is in the evening, it's better than staying home! I guess none of the earlier flights ever came down in price, or did you just quit checking on them? I still can't believe how much the price of flights has gone up since we flew in '09. Looks like we will be driving again this year if they stay that way... which I am sure they will.
