Seemed a little strange to me, but I'm hearing some of the radio commercials. The first time I heard it I didn't quite hear what the entire commercial was about when they said "not prepared in a vegetarian or vegan manner". I thought that was just taunting non-meat eaters that KFC isn't for them, but I guess it's a disclaimer that they likely fry it in the same oil that they used for cooking real chicken.
