I will be accompanying my daughter on a business trip in September and staying at the Four Seasons on property. We are DVC members so typically stay at a DVC resort. So who has stayed at the Four Seasons and how was it? Is transportation to the parks good? Any tips or recommendations? I will be going to the parks alone due to her working the entire time but I'm still excited.

I've stayed there one night with my wife for a special occasion. Being local, it was just to experience the hotel, not visit the parks which we do whenever we want. But to try to answer some of your questions:
Transportation to the parks is by bus. Going to the MK, you'll be dropped at the TTC. For the other parks you'll be dropped at the non-Disney bus lots.
The restaurants at 4S are really good. And really expensive. :)
Their pool area is awesome.

BTW, the pictures in your sig don't show up on here. Are they on a server that doesn't exist any longer?

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I find the Four Seasons lovely. Facilities/amenities/pools that blow anything WDW has to offer out of the water. Drink in hand floating around the mostly shady lazy river? Yes please.

I don’t love the transportation - it’s a very nice bus that runs on a set time schedule. The set times are great if it works for you, not so much if you just miss it. The TTC drop off for MK is less ideal, although not the end of the world.

They have a car service that will take you up to a certain distance, although a bit pricey. Minnie Vans also service FS.

Housekeeping is typically fantastic and they do nightly turndown service, which many hotels still have not brought back (ahem, Disney).

I’m not real big on the dining on the top floor (Capa) - a little too fancy for my vacation vibe - but I’ve always heard good things. The Lobby Bar has great food, in my opinion, and is a mix of both resort casual and evening dress up. Ravello has a really nice evening menu as well.

Lickety Split is the coffee/ice cream shop and is way too small/can be crazy in the AM. They also put out standard coffee for free outside Ravello in the mornings.

The “everything costs so darn much” vibe wears on me pretty quickly, but it’s a splurgy kind of place. I’d recommend bringing a water bottle (there’s a refill station along the lobby hallway and a few other places) because buying water will quickly add up $$.

Happy to answer any questions. Enjoy your trip!

We stayed there for 8 nights 2 years ago. Based on their current prices, I don’t know how I got such a good deal because we paid a fraction of what they charge now. Out of 8 days, we went to the parks only 3 afternoons. We had a car so didn’t not use their transportation to the parks. We kept cancelling our park reservations because the resort was outstanding. The pools (lazy river, water slide, family pool, and adult only pool), included free kids club, everything was amazing. It really does blow any other Disney resort out of the water.
