We were pretty much set on Keystone Resort through Conc. collection but now I am looking into the Club Intrawest locations. I know nothing about them and am wondering on what scale they are and how nice. We are basically looking at all the resorts except florida and palm springs. Any info. would be great. TIA

I haven't stayed in any of them. However, I have visited Blue Mountain many many times. I enjoy going to Collingwood. It's nice. But I don't feel that the Blue location would be on the level of many other exchanges as far as feeling like you are at a "secluded" resort away from everything. It's set up like a small village. Collingwood has many options all year round. Golf, lake right there, skiing of course.

I would think that the downtown Vancouver location would be fantastic. Views, on a high floor, would be breathtaking. I've seen the CI location..great. Downtown Vancouver is totally contained. You can walk everywhere. Transportation is exceptional. I love Vancouver. So beautiful and so much to do. I am so excited to go to CI there one day and back to Vancouver in general.

In the other Canadian locations (Whistler, Mount Tremblant, and Blue) they all tend to look very similar to me (village layout). MT is extemely low points (and on the week exchange as well) and would be feel "away" as it is a French speaking area. Probably one of the oldest.

Well I'm not a lot of help. Hopefully, someone will be on soon about actually staying in the suites.

Good luck.

Do a search by my name and you should find my review. We were very pleased with our trade. Let me know if you have questions.

We have two little ones. Do you think there is enough for them to do there? Also is there any fishing nearby?

We went in October - which is off season for the area. The resort itself has a nice pool (heated to be enjoyed all year round) and a movie theater with movies every night. I believe there were also other activities for little ones, but in all honesty we were childless at the time so didn't pay much attention.

Whistler itself offers all kinds of "nature" type activities and I would bet that fishing is one of them I am not a nature girl, so I wasn't looking for that. But, I do know there were bike rentals, zip lines, nature trails, golf, etc.

There are also a ton of awesome restaurants there - my husband wants to go back just for the food.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. it does help. I'm still not sure if I wouldn't rather go to Colorado but this gives me more to chew on.

I'm a Club Intrawest member and I can highly recommend their resorts - especially Whistler. Great for kids (free games room, movie theatre and separate pool with water slide and hot tubs that are kid-friendly). Lots of restauarants and activities besides skiing. Accommodations are 5 star.

The one in Mexico is supposed to be beautiful - we're going in April.

hope this helps.
